Well I like diversity... and ebb is the token conservative on the board. I think we should recruit some more conservatives so he feels less threatened  Sometimes though I just don't know how to take some of the comments if there are intended in jest or are mean spirited. |

i think all citizens should have health care. whether it's run by the government or just subsidized by the government, i don't think anyone should be unable to get the medical treatment they need to live.
i am against religion, and for abortion and for gay marriage.
i am for the assault weapon ban. i think pretty much sport -- ie, manual rifles -- should be the only weapons a private individual can own.
i am for taxing the living shit out of rich people. i am appauled by the disparity between the richest 5% of the counry (and world) and the way the rest of us live.
i am for population control and environmental concerns over human comfort. i am strongly against urban sprawl. i would be in favour of a law limiting families to two children, and if a couple tries to have more than that put the kids up for adoption or feed them to crocodiles.
i am against private ownership of heavy trucks and SUVs.
i am for much stricter driver's license testing. if we can institute much tougher testing and better training then i am for removal of speed limits on freeways. i am for huge transportation reform.
i'd say i'm a lot more liberal than conservative.
edit: also i fucking hate bush. |

Um, LBF, what the hell are you talking about? Some of that made no sense at all. You can have a substantial opinion and not be an asshole about it. I'm very firm in some of my beliefs and can sometimes be a bit self-righteous, but I don't come close to the way Ebb acts. Stop tooting his GD horn. He likely isn't brilliant (and if is you don't really know it) and you just seem weak and in need of a fierce protector of "justice." I'd bet Ebb is actually a sad, scared little man who overcompensates for his complete lack of power.

Well, even though you're not a conservitave-- the cool thing is you have an opinion and speak your mind.
As long as you are not pissing people off, I say let it rip. But I do sorta wonder if because you do assert yourself the way you do if does limit the free speech on the board because some people might be intimidated to speak their opinion. It's just a thought. |
