Hey hey - thanks Carolyn (I love that song so much, so no cheesey here!) and Crouty! I hardly noticed. Must be getting old, forgetting something like this. You know, they say the first thing to go is your memory. I can't remember what the second thing was....
Adnan, I'd thank you for your cryptic message, but I don't know if it was even directed at me. Besides, I know you're just a forum whore, and don't mean what you said about "Beyond 2000". I'm sure you say that to all the members.

30 years is not old, or imo, not even considered "not young". Most people I know live to be 90 years. But these happy threads are getting a little boring, imo. Maybe we should find a member of the forum that we all hate and wish him/her an UNHAPPY number of post, just for the sake of being against tradition.

hahahhahahah thanks IceCream - the voice of reason, it is seeming a bit much lately with the post number anniversaries. I was joking about the age, but you knew that right? I look forward to being an old lady - something like a cross between Ruth Gordon in "Harold and Maude" and Katherine Hepburn. Age don't bother me none, just the loss of time.

Congratumalations apl, you know I would have made this thread if Carolyn hadn't got there first... No, really! I don't think they'd have noticed if I hadn't mentioned it, the freeloading scum. Has that brought enough anger in to tame the happiness, cos I can raise it a notch if you like. Good job though, O Voice Of Reason. Many aply returns to ya.

Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary Hail Mary full of....... something?
I was a bad girl in Catholic school (as Carolynanna knows something about) so I felt it was as good a time as any to make up for it. Does it count if it doesn't mean anything? Neat chant though hahhahahha!
I am so bad. When I walk out the door tomorrow I half expect it to be hailing Marys upon my head.

Yeah I remember Beyond 2000. It was right up there with my other favourite show, the cartoon about how the body worked from the inside with the feller with the long white beard and the guy who played the viruses and whatnot had a big red nose.

Shoot, she better not hit 3000 before I hit 1000. Sure, it's okay for her to come in here and work her way up the chain faster than me, but there's only so many steps above me she's allowed to go.
I suppose it's to her advantage that she's smarter tha me and knows more than me and can think of more replies to things than me. But still...!!!! I won't let her get th 3k before I get my 1k.

Rumors of my smartliness have been greatly misoverexagerated. I can hold back on the pathetic no life thing for a while, so you can catch up.

I'm listening to the song "MPLS" right now by Paul Westerberg, and when he was singing "MPLS," I started singing "Apple for Eris" along to it, since the syllables and rhyme fit.

Wow - that's a little strange, but I'm really flattered!
Paul Westerberg played solo, right before Sonic Youth, at NONCOMM in Louisville a while ago. He didn't seem to be in his best form, and I guess he realized that. Hell, he was playin for free, so he deserves a little slack. Anyway, at the end of a pretty lackluster performance, he yelled FUCK!!!! and smashed his acoustic all to smithereens. (looked like a cheapo though)

Well, everything about Paul Westerberg is pretty cheapo these days. Have you seen what his album artwork looks like? And the DVD he has out it quite lo-fi. There's some good stuff on there, though. He can still put on a good performance, but he seems like a very odd fellow.

Happy birthday Jessie! You've been sorely missed around these parts. Gee, I guess now you won't be needing that Drinkin' Bra then? 'S ok, 'cause I'm still kinda working out the kinks in the prototype, so to speak.
And thanks for the salutations, but my birthday was in April. I'm so confused...it must be the Alzheimer's.
So.... how has the band and the new home been working out?

Yes, I figured that, but all this time all I needed was Ziploc? I'm a miserable wretched excuse for an inventor, I am.
But I have hopes for better days. Very soon, I plan on designing a container that burps when you close it!
