Actually, that's not my usual computing posture. This is.
Note how my posture resembles the posture of a drugged gargoyle. My posture in the previous post was brought on by a combination of my more-than-usual lack of sleep and my preparation to pounce (exactly as a drugged gargoyle can't) at the keyboard the moment tickets went on sale.

I just made the observation that each and every single buyer and each and every single seller on our new list is from either Winnipeg or Minneapolis. Very interesting. Breakdown is 8 Winnipeg people, 4 Minneapolis.
Not counting Matt, of course, but he's not on the list yet. |

| Your wrong roomloo i from Thunder Bay the concert just gave me excuse to go down to winnipeg. No one i know from here wants to go that why i prefre to give the ticket to someone from winnipeg i get there at like 8 in the morning in winnipeg just going to give a call to who ever gets ticket meet up with them and give it away.3 or 4 people contected me for the ticket so far i donno who gets it yet i say roomloo has a list made . Hope to get this extra ticket figured out soon rob |

Rob, would there be any way I could just set you up with Ediger under the condition that you mail the ticket to him (assuming that's what he insists upon)? I can't speak for him but I'd think you'd be allowed to ask for a little extra cash for your trouble.
Okay, I know you're not that interested in cash ... maybe he can offer to buy you a drink. Or in some way prove his worthiness as a Pixies fan so you know the ticket is going to the type of person you'd like it to.
Anyway ... I'll leave it to you and Ediger to negotiate amongst yourselves, unless you're totally against that idea. In any case, keep us updated... |

| Hey i got a question is the pixies concert all ages or is 18 plus.Do they serve boozes at cummings theater. Another question last time i went to a bar in winnipeg they metal detected my ass. Will they do that there. Just a question for people thinking of taping the show i donno how you get threw that metal detecter. |

its all ages. Only time I've been in the Burton once, for A Perfect Circle, and there was no metal detectors. However, they were frisking everyone rather intensely. They found my lighter and confiscated it. This was right after that club fire in America, though. As far as I know, they serve booze.
Anyway, I'm assuming this Robert guy who added me to his MSN list is you, Robnas, so I guess we'll talk on there. Thanks a ton, this will make things much simpler. |

Isn't it funny how Liffey made such a big deal about sticking to the original pact when I called him on trying to sell his ticket on the pixies board and now that the time has come to sell the ticket he's nowhere to be found. That "clarification" that he posted sounded like bullshit.

Glad everyone's happy at least -- i.e., no one was screwed by Liffey. I'll put Liffey's name down as a potential extra ticket for the next person -- probably a better deal than being matched up with nobody at all -- and hopefully he'll resurface and calm our suspicions again like he did last time.
As for people still waiting, Havalina might still have two more and there is one other person who has requested not to be named who may be providing two more. Anyone else? Please?

| Holy shit people. I go on vacation for two weeks and when i come back this is what i find. Oh well, it's understandable, I guess I've been acting pretty sketchy. I e-mailed Ediger days and days ago but apparently the email was returned, I must have done something wrong. The sucky part is now everyone hates me :( and whoever gets my ticket is going to have to end up next to me the whole show, and hate me the whole time, and ruin the experience for both of us. I just wanted to help by donating my extra and I've probably done more harm than good, by making you people stress over me. It's nothing against you people, I'm just a lazy person and I forget about things sometimes. Like I was really enjoying not having access to the internet for all that time, but there's a cost. There's always a fucking cost. |

aaahhhh.... I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off. All my tickets have been shipped out, and the last 4 are on their way to the last two buyers. No more going to the post office and repeating the same thing over and over, "I'd like to ship this by expresspost with $300 insurance and signature confirmation". I know she must be getting sick of me.

I posted this in the Minneapolis thread but I figure there's a better market here for what I'm proposing considering that no one has responded about the ride (god knows I got numerous other offers):
Ok, the status on my tickets is finally showing that they are being shipped so I thought I would toss this propsition out to see if there are any takers. I have an extra pair of tickets for Minneapolis. Now I don't want money for them I would rather get a huge favour. Before this show was announced I got tickets for Winnipeg and have my flight booked and payed for to come in on the 13th at around 11:00 am. What I'm thinking of doing is trading the two extra tickets for a ride to the show from the Winnipeg airport and then back. Anyone form Winnipeg who is planning on driving willing to do that?
