Hey Aaron--
Considering your particular situation, I think the best thing would be for you to offer your tickets to the first buyer on the list who volunteers to buy them. I don't think the other buyers would mind that much, considering the risks involved.
FYI to the buyers -- for more background, marble has a very thorough and detailed account on the other Winnipeg thread of a discussion he had with Ticketmaster regarding his tickets.

| And also, like marble said, he does have a preference for selling in person the day of the show, so keep that in mind too. I'd say anyone interested should e-mail him directly and get the full scoop -- just let us know if you finalize anything so I can take you off the list. |

It would be awesome if I could make it to both of those. I'm thinking that if I could work something out with someone from Winnipeg to get a ride to Minneapolis and then back to Winnipeg I could pull it off. I'm flying in at 11:00 am into Winnipeg so if I manage to get a ride with someone who would be leaving after my flight gets in I could do it. I was talking to my girlfriend about it and she's not up for doing it but she's fine with staying in Winnipeg while I go. Flying in to Minneapolis is incredibly expensive. I've been scouring the net for cheap flights and it seems no discount carrier goes there.

united airlines has pretty cheap flights from toronto to minnesota, have a look at them. The web site indicates round trip flights are *cheaper* than one way but that has to be a mistake.

Now I know how I did it. If you select round trip departing Minneapolis Apr 10 to Toronto and returning Apr 13 to Minneapolis, flights are $329 non-stop. Crazy airlines....

According to a prior post, selfescape was selected to buy tickets from me. He posted in the Fine Line thread that he didn't think he was going to be able to make the winnipeg show or was waiting to see about tickets for the minneapolis show.
He doesn't have any contact info in his profile so I can't get a hold of him, I'm just wondering if he still needs these Winnipeg tickets or should I try to distribute them to someone else.
I have 3 tickets (2 with selfescapes name on them for now) and one other one for the Winnipeg show. |

Since this is first come first serve, unless someone objects I move that we just dole out tickets as they become available rather than wait to do them all at once. Havalina, you debaserjones both live in Minneapolis which makes this even easier. So again, objections will be considered and discussed, but if not I think debaserjones and Havalina should work out a transaction.
If you do that let us know so we can move on down the list. |

Ediger -- so it's been since last Wednesday, right? When was the last time you contacted him? He has confirmed at least twice, so I'm not sure why you wouldn't hear from him, but I'll put you next in line on the third-round list after debaserjones. In the meantime if you hear from liffey, I'll take you back off that list. If you get a ticket from someone else through the new list and then liffey re-surfaces, I'll set up the next third-round person in line with liffey.
Don't suppose anyone else here has any additional contact info for liffey ... looking at his profile, he hasn't posted since 2/27, either... |

Hey Matt--
Since Sunday has come and gone, might you have any extras for the list at this point?
Also, I would strongly advise against making Minneapolis your one and only early stop on the tour. From the sounds of it, Winnipeg will be 100% big huge fans, while my confidence in the people who got tickets to the Minneapolis show dwindles by the day. Think of that crappy station in Toronto you mentioned in another thread and the types of people who listen to it... reading the Minneapolis need-tickets thread, it's sounding more and more like those types. I have this fear that like over 25% of the people walking in those doors won't even be able to name all four (or five, depending on how you count it) Pixies albums...

| Hello I have one extra ticket people been emailing me about it but once i email them back they havent replyied.I have no clue who to give ticket to i would prefre someone in winnipeg so i dont have to mail ticket but will mail it out if have to.Maybe i should give the ticket to someone who put there name on a waiting list . I donno never did this before with extra tickets new stuff for me. i dont care about money for the ticket tho all ready got my 35 bucks for it.I want to get rid of this ticket soon its hard to get rid of cause only 1 ticket. | sound good roomloo.I never have seen a community like this before with sharing tickets and stuff. I hate to see people getting ripped off on ebay.I would feel bad charging someone an arm and leg for the ticket and have to sit next to them at the show. If i am not mailing the ticket out show i scan the ticket and send them an email to prove not lying or would it just be best to mail them the ticket. I would be nervous tho if someone said they had a ticket for me but no ticket in hand. I donno its just me. |

Here's an update. gkd has informed me he still needs one, and since he didn't get as many as he had originally asked for in the post-sale thing I'm giving him is original place in line right behind rexella.
If MattB really does have those extras he thought he might have due to uninterested buyers, we might be in decent shape. Also, it's looking like I might not need any more after all, which would be better news for Spleen and mzajac. I'll keep my name in for now but keep y'all posted.
Also Ediger, any luck with Liffey? Anyone strike a deal with robnas? If not I'd like to match him with the first buyer from Winnipeg in the list, whoever that is.
And Havalina/debaserjones -- are you guys cool with being paired up? If you've begun your transaction I'll update the list accordingly.

I have two tickets that I'm still waiting for payment for. I'm being way more patinet than I should. I'm going to send an email if I don't hear form them by tomorrow at 12:00 noon it's going to be first come first serve. I'm sorry, I know that we have this third round of ticket distribution but I really want to get this out of the way. I'll post tomorrow after 12:00 if the tickets are still available.

Just thought I'd post a picture of my attempt to get tickets. Can't see all the computers or people working the computers, but they were there. We were pretty sucessful, but still didn't get enough for everybody I was trying to help out. Here we are.
Thanks to this thread I was able to meet my goal. Thanks everybody!!!
P.S. Did anybody else photographically document their efforts for this show? I bet by the time the concert is over with we'll collectively be able to put together a bitchin' photo album online somewhere.
