I was just able to buy 2 more. I'm not sure what's going on with that website, but ya'll might want to keep trying. if ya can't, I've got extra now. sounds like johnny's got dibs so far ;)

Anyone know how quickly they sold out? I bought mine within the first 5 minutes and i have ticket #193.
After seeing us celebrate in the parking lot of Sharis, an older guy asked us if we had won the lottery.

| If you didn't receive a confirmation email, check your credit card and see if they have charged you. My browser crashed when I hit the button to submit my credit card info. I never got a confirmation email or the order confirmation screen (or the other weird notice screen some of you got). I wasn't sure if it went through. I checked my credit card account right after and there was no notice a transaction from TicketsWest was pending, but I just checked it again now and there is a pending charge for that ticket order!! |

i got the weird message, waited a couple hours, and called in. was told they have my order (YEAH!) but that the email announcements were a little backed up. hey, whatever, as long as i'm in.

I already sent you a private email, but I think you have the last 2. I'm going to give first priority to the people who contacted me first as that is about the only fair way I know how to do it (I'm not going to start a bidding war and sink to the level of the asshole scalpers).
I'll give everyone who emailed me before the tickets went on sale a day or two to contact me if they weren't able to get any today. After that I'll contact everyone through email to arrange payment/delivery.
I'll sell the extras at face value. But if anyone feels like buying me a beer on the night of the show, I won't turn you down (or something else, if ya got some...)

Funny/sad/horrible thing...
I had one ticket confirmed for the this show at about 10:01am, and as it was processing, all of our provider's (Adelphia) cable service in California went out. Worst timing ever.
I still can't believe it.

i hope you can get tickets kottke..
hate to rub it in but i'm really excited about going. decided to splurge because i'd rather see them in a smaller venue (in addition to Coachella) and it's an excuse to get out of LA for the weekend.
going to be heading up there with my current ladyfriend. see you guys there pehraps..
harringk - can you recommend, offhand, a hotel that's near the venue.. or one in a cool area with bars and whatnot.. |

Anything downtown is going to be within walking distance of the venue and a plethora of bars. Maybe the Ridpath on Sprague??

Oh I'm happy it got charged as long as I'm getting the tickets! I just called TicketsWest to confirm and the order went through fine--got a little paranoid it was the UK ticketweb syndrome. |

| Could someone sell me two tickets to the Pixies at cost for the spokane show? I would really love it. My boyfriend and I really want to go. If two people from Seattle/Tacoma have 2 extra tickets but don't have a ride, I bet we could work something out. |

| It looks like the Spokane show is perhaps not sold out. TicketsWest has a big, red "SOLD OUT" on the Eugene show, but not on the Spokane one. Also there was one instant of someone wanting Eugene tickets today and they accidentaly bought for Spokane instead, as posted in the Eugene forum. Those wanting tickets should check it out! |

Well, I just tried the TicketsWest website, just to see if there were in fact tickets available (it wouldn't work for me earlier). After you click BUY NOW it takes you to a page that says it is sold out. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up. Strange TicketsWest treats different shows differently. I'd appreciated a big SOLD OUT notice on all shows that are sold out.
But of course I learned from yesterday getting Spokane tickets, and today trying my hardest to get Eugene tickets on an utterly crashed site that TicketsWest is certainly not prepared for such huge interest in the shows it sells tickets for. |

Well, I caved and bought 2 tickets off of eBay for way too much money. But I MUST get 1 more ticket for my best friend who introduced me to the Pixies!
So if anyone has just ONE measly ticket left over I'd love to buy it off of you! I am willing to pay over cost -- just let me know what works for you. I just hate to risk making this site full of worthy pixies fans a scalpers playground, so I hesitate to encourage upselling. Anyway -- I am, like everyone here, desperate for the Pixies and need just ONE more ticket to the Spokane show!!

I noticed most of the top bidders on Pixes tix on Ebay are TICKET AGENT Companys.
So I like I said in my post Prices Are gonna explode so your beetter to get them now! |

Looking at some auctions here, Amazed. I looked at auctions for Vancouver, Spokane, and Winnipeg. For each one I clicked on the top five or so in the list for both completed and active auctions. I don't see a single high bidder who looks like a ticket seller -- none of them with "tickets" or anything in their username, only a few of them of whom have sold ANYTHING on eBay, and the one guy who had been doing a good deal of selling was about 50/50 buying and selling and none of the items I saw were ticket-related.
So now I'm more curious about where all these ticket agent companies are putting high bids on Pixies tickets. Not calling you a liar ... just wondering what I'm doing wrong. Thanks. |

Hey - I need recommendations for hotels in Spokane! Any recommendations of places near the concert?
Does anyone have any info on the show location? Big Easy? The website only has "info coming soon!" since I guess the place is new?
And since it sounds like me and my husband will be going alone, anyone want to get together before for drinks? It'd be fun to hang out w/ fellow Pixies fans! |
