What the heck?! There's absolutely no way for me to get these songs, as I don't have a credit card. A $10 import CD I can scrounge some money up to buy in a store, but there's no way I can get a credit card. This really blows.

I absolutely hate internet exclusive stuff like this.. but I did buy it.. and I quite enjoy it. But please Frank, no more internet exclusives..

you can get it for windows too, just tried it, but it's only for 2000 or XP... Unfortunately I've got Windows ME, so it won't run on my machine, darn it! But if that is true, and it's only available for US people anyway, then I guess I couldn't get them anyway... I hope they get 'released' some other way too, I don't mind paying for them...

opening up to win users is a good start.hopefully they will start selling outside the U.S too.Maybe they will put those songs on the new napster too,that will be available worldwide if i'm not wrong.

| if you know someone with a us based credit card you can have them buy you an itunes gift certificate. otherwise you'll have to wait a while for the store to show up in other countries. |

damn, I have Win 98! I'll have to buy it and burn it from my friends comp. Internet exclusive albums are really dumb. I glanced right over the trach Show Me Your Tears; I didn't even realize what I was reading! I didn't know there was a title track. Does this "EP" come with cover art?

Just heard about the new EP
Went to itunes site with credit card and could not purchase since I have Windows 98... very disappointed.
Internet only would be a lot better if you just buy it in the browser instead of using their silly program. Oh well

They have their own AAC codec, so you need Apple software to decode it..
Funny how people complain about everything.. We want something other than CD's! The internet sucks! hahahahaha
It does seem weird it's US-only tho.. Maybe we can arrange a 'trade' program.. Would someone want to volunteer to accept $4 via Paypal, and buy people $4 Apple gift certificates?

well i got my friend to buy me the ep, but you cant listen to it without his password and he doesnt seem to want to give it to me, so i have to figure out some way to crack the AAC codec.

well, when you think about it, he probably would have never released this ep otherwise, cuase hed have to do all the packaging and shipping and all that jazz. if they can just release it on itunes, its much less of a hassle. and since i didnt even know these songs existed (save dont clip your wings) im glad i get to hear them, eventhough i have to go through a significant hassle to do so (i havent heard them yet, still trying to defeat the DRM protection on them). The point is, im sure you can find someone willing to burn it for you eventually, maybe you can pay them 5 bucks, and that nice person will mail a 4 dollar check to frank so he still gets paid.

hint: well if you get a friend to buy you the songs of itunes (thats what i did) you have to get him/her to burn them on cd and then rerip them. Im sure some of you will go nuts about the potential loss of quality, you can tell if youre really trying but its not that big of a deal at all. for 4 bucks seems like a pretty good deal, the songs are cool. especially preachers daughter and show me your tears.

Who on earth has been saying they want something other than CDs? Officially sanctioned internet downloads are going to kill music for me. Aside from the lossy format that is MP3, you also miss out on packaging and the fun of going into a music store to buy it. I don't know about you, but walking out of a music store with a stack of CDs is always a gratifying experience. Downloading crummy MP3 files...no.

i don't mind internet only stuff, i'd rather it was all on cd, but if it is internet only i'd much prefer it to be available to more people than just the people in the US who can use iTunes... Darn it! Darn it! Darn it!

So none of these songs appear on the three singles that were released to coincide with SMYT?
By the way I'll add my vote to not paying for online music. Totally lazy. People should steal stuff online though...I believe in that. Before you guys get hot under the collar, Frank is living the "Loft Lifestyle" in Portland, so don't feel to bad for him. Plus if he's ever hard up he can always reform the Pixies. Talk about a retirement program, damn. |

no these are four all new songs, well dont clip your wings was played live and recorded on hearitagain.net, but otherwise this was a pretty big surprise for me. Preacher's Daughter is an excellent song though
