Just heard from a very reliable source (someone that works at the promotion department of the company that distributes his music in the Benelux), that Frank's touring bus and all the equipment in it was stolen this night in Switzerland . All Swiss gigs are canceled and he's stuck in Germany.
This is really bad news !

| No it's not a joke, it's serious. I know i'm a newbie here so you guys don't know me, but i just wanted to see if there was already some news about it on a Frank Black site and this was the first i came across. When i found nothing on the subject i decided to register and let you know because there might be some people driving to the Swiss gig for nothing tonight. Those who are should at least call the venue to get a confirmation , i suggest. Maybe they found a solution but i definitely heard that both Swiss gigs are canceled and Frank is stuck in Munich. |

Well, Haris did mention something about cancelling some shows elsewhere, so this is possible. I really hope not. Frank and his crew don't deserve this.

Sorry that i scared a lot of people with the news ! This was truly what I heard, so probably the "major breakdown" was interpreted in a totally wrong way. But so there was definitely something going on there and the Swiss dates ARE canceled, so at least that part was true.
Sorry again for the fuzz.
Quite a relief 'cause i was planning to see the guys on Wednesday and was fearing the worst already. Feel pity for the Swiss fans though....
So their van did get stolen already one time ? When was that ? |

How many times do i have to say i'm sorry ? Knowing the guy who told me very well, I had no reason whatsoever to doubt the truth of the message. But he heard it from someone else and i guess somewhere along the way there has been some kind of minsunderstanding.
Of course a stolen van is different than a "major breakdown" but the essence is they can't use it anymore, and the two gigs were canceled. I'm really glad that the equipment wasn't stolen though. |

dude, lay off gougeaway! they said they honestly believed the stuff had been stolen, and were right about the gigs being cancelled... no harm done really, and they were only trying to help by relaying the news...
real shame for those swiss dates.
