He's been sharing a lot about politics lately on his twitter feed. Was he ever vocal about politics before ? I remember his twitter account being more about random stuff.
I've never been a huge fan of artists sharing their political views, but it's interesting.

Definetely in agreement with Franks criticisms. Trump is an absolute narcissist disaster. I think it can be hard to ignore politics when things get this bad... I imagine some felt similar during other times of maniac leaders elections, etc. |

Two things- A)Call them out if you feel like it. I'd argue that's a big part of social media.
B)There's a big election coming up which 'could' put an end to the Trump garbage if enough people vote him out. |

OK, once again you did not provide any solutions, just statements. My problem is that people in general like to bitch about any and everything, but yet they never have any hard solutions or something better. In theory, yes some may have, but in reality...uh, not so much I'm afraid. To me this just reeks of frustration, a little rant if you will. I don't read anything that states how to make anything better, just a bitch, a frustration. The CDC is mostly controlled by entities outside of the US (Communist China) which is the big elephant in the room that nobody will address except President Trump. Man, how easy it is to just throw blame on one man's shoulder's. Nobody ever focuses on the positives that the President has accomplished, ever! That's just too hard I guess, especially if you just go by the bought and paid for corporate MS news. I don't like every single thing the man has done or said, but has there ever been a President where you could say that? Absolutely not! |

I agree there's never been a perfect president and corporate wings of both parties are a problem. But Trump as a special type of insanity. During a record breaking pandemic he is awful as over, throwing punches at everyone who doesn't drink his kool aid.
I don't see a reason to go over how awful he is now though... He's been doing this shit for 3 years in office.. And I also thought who was a total asshole even back in high school. Never liked the dude at all. I'm sure I could find a couple decent things he's done but overall he's pretty terrible.
I could give 3 simple things off the bat of the recent crap he's pulled-
1) Destroying mail sorting machines right before a massive election during a pandemic! His post master who's a Trump donor by the way has confirmed this.
2) Trying to destroy Obamacare during a pandemic! Which would take away health insurance from literally millions of Americans.
3) Making up that he passed veterans care act. Which 'literally' was signed in by Obama during his term.
I could keep going though but I wont... point being though- I think he's abysmal as do many other people. |

I really think that you need to do some research on you own. I believe that you will find that there some major flaws in what you state. That is my opinion my man. I just don't think that you have a grasp on what is really going on globally. Forget about your emotions for a few minutes and look to find some facts! I am not saying these things to sway you or anything to that matter. But, I feel as if you are and that is not open minded. Look under the COVER'S!!! You will find some appreciation and some positives that you never knew existed. I'm not going to try and tell you what to do, but in the end you will see. |

Anyone's welcome to their own opinions but indie rock and punk have been pretty open about politics throughout its time. So if Frank wants to tweet about stupid/hyprocritical shit Trump and his goons are doing, I'm all for it. Peace |

I've been wondering how all these BLM activists are getting away with all the looting and burning (I've seen clips on them doing it and the police are just round the corner doing nothing) and I've been speculating that maybe it could be the authorities in some states might want them all to happen because it will it reflect bad on Trump in the run up to the election?
I'm not arguiing in favour of Trump in any way, or Biden. Whoever take the White House you can be sure they will just be another puppet for the deep state. Not sure why Sanders pulled out, but I'm guessing he wouldn't have fit in with the cult. The three of them are all practising coffin dodgers as well. Die! Die! Die! |

The CDC is a US government agency, you must be thinking of the World Health Organization

First of all, how are BLM activists they getting away with all the looting and burning? Another question you should be asking, at least here in the US is how is the global corporate elite getting away with all the looting and burning? I personally would not "loot" or "burn" as the protestors are doing, but that is just property damage. We're talking about the police taking away lives here, literally killing people with impunity with barely any accountability. So it's understandable that people are angry... But back to my point about the corporate elite...the US just gave a 4 billion bail out to the corporate sector because of Covid...and just like 2008, all these corporations just put it right back into their stocks...they don't put it into the working class, they don't care about the working class, all they care about are about their short term profits. All the US has given is a measly 1200 dollar check throughout all of this...NOW, THAT is the the true looting, as our tax dollars go to the corporate elite...that's neo-liberalism for you, which is essentially Socialism for the rich...we've been subsidizing these corporations for decades...a lot of them don't even pay their taxes...
Not only that, but the US military budget, which includes the militarization of the police is over 4 trillion...our tax money literally going to slaughter and burning...for what? That money, just a fraction of that could probably be for universal health care...but again, the corporate elite do not want that because they are just greedy within our individualized cult of the self culture... The police are there to protect the wealthy property owners...why is it that this 17 year old kid with a rifle was greeted with water from the police? And a black man literally doing nothing got shot 7 times, repeat, 7 times in the back!? They criminalize the poor, and are racist...we have a prison system, a private prison system that profits off prisoners being in prison, so they arrest people here in certain states on bogus charges, on non violent drug charges (possession of marijuana)...the policy also give bogus tickets, essentially, practicing extorion
People are tired over here living paycheck to paycheck...our minimum wage is a joke! Half of our population are below the poverty level, we are practically Brazil...we don't even have a functioning health care service...
so the real looting is coming from the corporate elite...that's where the police should be, but why aren't they there?

I'm fully on board with all these points you make #thumbsup
The state has basically gained it's authority from centuries of murdering and pillaging. Therefore young, angry and black anarchy on the streets.
Things are looking increasingly grim everywhere. At least you have an entire continent to go anywhere you like in though. As of next year we in the UK will need a visa to cross the channel. |

The two topics you are not supposed to talk about, religion and politics, are the topics that Frank has been singing about ever since he first screamed "repent."
There are more political leaders referenced in his songs than we could probably count, and many, many political issues.
One of his big themes has been: Do not follow the antichrist, do not take the mark of the beast, a religious and political leader for sure if you've read the book that Frank gets many of his songs from. |

HMMM... interesting. I like the way you put that, but I personally never got that from the Pixies/solo. But, when I think about it, I believe that you may be right about it. I really just don't think that there is a spot for Black Francis to be putting shit like this out there. Not many paying attention...I truly believe that he is either trying to get a spark of some sort, or is just bored out of his mind. |

Or he sees how fucked up things are and feels passionately enough about it to be more vocal and call out what he sees? Give the man you’ve praised and supported all these years some credit, even if his opinion differs from yours. |

Agree with a lot of your points for sure. The thing that really gets me is the terms "protester" and "rioter" are used like they are the same thing! Protesting is one thing, rioting/creating chaos is another, period. I see that you are calling things out for what they really are, and that's great in my opinion. Most people are totally blind, riding on autopilot, relying on what the TV tells them. That's really the sad part of everything, nobody wants to face reality! The people of this planet have been indoctrinated in one form or fashion, that is on purpose. |

I managed to dekipper it all yes, and agree with the points you raise.
Nice that all you Merkins got a $1200 bung though. All I got was a free packet of face masks from the local community council. I failed to qualify for any of the small business grants and so I remain myself living from cheque to cheque. At least I'm not starving, and I get my rent paid but I wouldn't have minded a small bung to get me a new computer. Maybe I should wear a hoodie and raid my local PC World instead, because I feel disenfranchised by the system and discriminated against for my choice of recreational drugs.
Things aren't that different in the UK these days so far as corporate crimes against humanity and the planet go, and you are a second class citizen in the eyes of the police if you're black, and a potential drug dealer if you drive a car. I totally get all that, but you know I've lived in London and Manchester and the attitude and behaviour I experienced from some of the black community in those places was unbecoming, and tantamout to racism. You can play the victim card so far, but if you start deliberately acting like a twat towards me for no good reason then don't expect any sympathy from me. The other side of the BLM coin is the fact that many of them don't do the cause for good race relations any good by acting the way they do.
Our democracy in the UK has been overturned by wealthy bankers who donate millions to government officials in exchange for favours, and then when the politicians who aid their crimes come to the end of their careers they are rewarded with positions that help to turn them into millionaires too. And the cycle goes on. And so many of these people have connections with elite pedophile rings. The system has become so corrupt that maybe the only way to fix things is to rise up and..
Whatever happens though you can bet your arse that we are all being played by the media. The masses rise up against the classes and this then gives them the excuse they need to clamp down further on our rights.
IMO and I'm sure I'll get called a flat-earther by some for it, but I believe we are all being played globally by the deep state and the COVID thing is a psy-op to test our allegiance. Maybe it's coming from China? I know that before 9/11 the US penned a document called the Project for the New American Century, and it was co-authered by a guy called Philip Zelikow who later went on to head the fraudulent 9/11 Commission cover up. "A new Pearl Harbour" "Full Spectrum Dominance" is the current aim of the US, with their partners in crime in the Israeli government. I suppose China is going to want a slice of that pie too, so mabye we are heading towards a full scale world war with China?
Whether there really is a deadly pandemic, or it's a deep state reset of the entire global economy with a view to covertly installing a NWO: both scenarios are equally terrifying. |

I totally messed that reply up, somehow it got posted in the original post. Hopefully you all can decipher.

Man, that was really well spoken Pot. I am on board with very much of what you spoke here. People need to get away from being so emotional about everything and get glued into realism. China is the largest threat, there is no doubt, and it has been the plan of the Cabal for decades now. They have infiltrated our universities without speaking the language for Christ sake! Hispanic people need to stop being "afraid" and speak up for what they really stand for. Most of that is family, religion, values, morals...etc..But they keep quiet, in fear, and that is also the plan. Talking bad about President Trump does no good at all for anyone on any side of the fence. People just need to come back to the center of things not extremism which is exactly what is happening and what Soros and the crew want and have been perpetuating for a long time. The Nazi is not Trump, it is Soros in the truest of ways. You can look it up, it's documented. |

Some really silly things mentioned in the past few posts. I’m glad BF sees more clearly. That way I can still fully enjoy his music while also knowing he has basic common sense. Conspiracy theories are rampant right now and most always total bullshit. |

Glad to find someone with an open mind. I don't know much about the whole Soros stuff, but all "billionaire philanthropists" in my view should be treated with a high level of suspicion. I know Bill Gates had connections with Jeffrey Epstein, as did many others and some of the stuff coming about all that is deeply disturbing. I saw a clip of Gates the other day and the following words came out of his mouth: "Pandemic 1.0" "Pandemic 2.0" and "bio-terrorist attack". Now if you are awake enough to see that 9/11 was obviously a false flag event that was used to justify the invasion of Iraq and further erosions of civil liberties and then you look at what's happening now then it's certainly cause for serious concern. But the media fights back with disinformation and censorship and people are too lazy or too scared to look beyond the mainstream narrative, and so it's easy for them to get away with it because they've got so many people following them that they can manipulate into ridiculing and verbally attacking anyone who dares to do their own research or think for themselves. The terrifying reality may be that there are some very bad people using their wealth and influence to dictate global policy through orchestrating various events and spreading constant lies through the news. If you look throughout history there have always been bad people running the show. It's always bad people because the most effective way to gain power is to employ violence and fear. Why after centuries of this should things suddenly be different today? And considering the technological advances and where we are now it is very naive to assume that there isn't a cabal, or group of cabals with enormous wealth working behind the scenes to try and achieve full global control. It's even written about in an official document prior to 9/11 - "full spectrum dominance" of the air, the land, the seas and space. The natural progression of society has been towards greater and and more centralised control, so why wouldn't the ultimate goal that some may be trying to achieve be a NWO government? |

I know. I know. It's a waste of time talking about anything other than the mainstream narrative with most people. I get it. I always get tired of the vacant responses. |

I don't live in my mom's basement, but in a sort of Scottish way I am living the equivalent of that. Maybe the reason conspiracy theories are becoming so infest is because some of it is right? I don't dig deep into these things but from someone who has studied physics and engineering and worked in it to a fairly competent level I think I am qualified to say 9/11 is bullshit. All the rest is 90% speculation from me. |
