Greetings All. There will be Bossanova twitter listening party on Friday 7th August. They are organised by Tim Burgess of the Charlatans. There have been plenty during the UK lockdown but this is the first Pixies one so far. You listen along in real time, read/write the tweets and share the love for the album in play. Having joined along for a few I can say they are very very good fun. And Joey Santiago will be the compere.
I only listen to this album when I'm drunk now, and feel like going on trip down the old memory lane.
Seen Tim Burgess coming up on Twitter a few times during one of these, but I have never thus far participated in the online party.
The great thing about modern technology is that you can go anywhere you like and have an album party with people all over the world, like the top of a hill for example.
