JB drags on for too long, but I really like Joey's work on it, and also the guitar hook with the "oooh ooooh"s. The punk version of this song is probably great.

Just in time for Christmas, I've killed 'Jaime Bravo'.
Round 6: Tenement Song. For similar reasons as J Bravo. Nice, "classic-Pixies" guitar work by Joey, but it just doesn't hold up as a song (especially against BFB's catalogue). It probably should have been cut *before* Bravo. |

Agreed, Magdalena318 and Andro Queen votes at this stage are very surprising. I'd wager it's some sneaky strategy from Oona fans, trying to get rid of strong competition early on.
Magdalena is one of the coolest songs BF has written. How great is that solo guitar interplay between BF and Joey? And the live version is even better, with those chorus harmonies.
Sticking with Greens and Blues. Seems nice and shiny, but it doesn't have a pulse.

Gets a bit tough now. The only weak songs I can identify are Tenement Song and All I Think About Now. Some of the others are so so (UCL, Bel) but these two have more bad than good I think.
In a bid to save Andro Queen I will go for Tenement Song. |

| On the topic of Greens and Blues - which I consider a good song but can understand why some think it's a bit light - I was couchsurfing with some Croatians recently and one of them asked for Pixies and the first song they put on was Greens and Blues. Interesting choice. Unless it's the first song that comes up on youtube or something. |

I can understand that choice. Greens and Blues is probably the closest thing to a classic "easy" Pixies song that Pixies 2.0 have produced. Feels somewhere between HCYM and WIMM. |

Voting Greens & Blues too.
Nice song & chord progression, but suffers the IC album syndrome. Too repetitive, too long, a bit boring, needs some bridge/solo. Like many IC songs, it sounds like a polished beta-version.

Sorry, I was actually voting for Magdalena! I just don't enjoy it as much as the others. Andro Queen is right near the top of the Pixies 2.0 songs for me though!

I get why so many skip this track – the production is blown-out, the arrangement doesn’t sound like a Pixies song, the meter makes it sound like it’s not even a BFB song – but it really is a beautiful song; lyrically and musically it is beautiful.

Alright, I think it's time to kill another track. Clear move to cut Greens & Blues. Although it is far from my favorite track -- I get why it's disliked -- I'm surprised it's being cut before other light tracks like 'Women of War' and 'Tenement Song'. G&B has a stronger melody, guitar parts IMO.
