From the first one, BBC outtakes, Allison, Palace, Motorway, and Tame are the standouts. But, they are all great! That magic was for another period in time I guess.

As much as I like this version I'm really glad there exists a Frank Black studio version. I think it really benefits from the clean sounding production of the Yellow/Orange album.

Also, I'm drunk, and it just took me 20 minutes to type that on my phone and for some reason couldn't post it because the 'Submit Reply' button just vanished after I started typing, so I had to fire up the old laptop...

...at 12:29am.

So it seems that demos such as Hang on to your ego (obvious drum machine), Velouria or Is She Weird were broadcast during these BBC Sessions. Not to be confused with actual live in the studio versions...
