Wilson, I never really considered Hexe and Magdalena to be among the best songs on IC, even if solid, and I much preferred live versions of Silver Snail.
So if the 12 songs above are better than those, it's very promising!
And I have the feeling I can relate to your taste

Or maybe there's a surprise here. We'll get the full album online this week, and the Vinyl/CD version comes in September. Right ? Right ?

So glad Paz joined the band. That female presence is great.
I like the tempo and the interplay on vocals. Was expecting Joey's part to me more like the RS performance. Oh well.

Why is that? I'm genuinely curious.
No crazy stories or anything. It's just a large indoor arena (6,000 people capacity), lifeless and with a crap sound like any other arena. Makes you feel like you're in a cattle farm. The first Pixies post-reunion gig in Paris was there and the show really sucked because of it. I saw Pavement there too, one of my worst concert memories. So, no Pixies for me this time.
