10/23/12 - 8:38am - home commode
looks like its going to be another chilly day. do I need a jacket if I wear a flannel?
one of my cats hasn't eaten in 2 days. she's lost a lot of weight. vets still don't know what's wrong with her.
going to a Dis De Los Muertos celebration this weekend. looking forward to that. i like the idea of celebrating death, and the death of your loved ones, as opposed to mourning. also, I like the idea of drinking lots of tequila and eating good Mexican food

in some ways I know this will be the most peaceful moment if my day. I appreciate having this quiet time to myself, to reflect, and regroup. yesterday was a circus. I hope today will not be as insane but... if it is, I'm ready for it. I feel calm, centered.
probably shouldn't have had clam chowder last night. I think I may be lactose intolerant

Why is it that public toilet seats are horseshoe-shaped (at least in men's rooms), but home toilet seats are enclosed at the front? |

posting in this thread properly without an iphone is difficult. having a wireless connection helps. with my imac (24 inch screen) sitting precariously in the sink and my key pad on my lap i'm ready to go.
it took some maneuvering but i did it!

is this a serious question?

off to work on this fine Saturday. not to imply that I am some kind of martyr, but I kind of am. im pretty exhausted. I guess it doesn't help that I was out last night drinking strong, rum-based cocktails.
turns out a bowl of pistachio nuts, beer and rum is not a high fiber dinner |

i'm guessing because 90% of the stray piss from a gent end's up on that area of the toilet seat; so the horseshoe is probably just to make the janitor's job that little bit less disgusting.....

this is the calm before the storm. going to be a tough week. that is, for people who are pussies. I can handle it. we got this. who's we?
im feeling surprisingly rested for only having one day off and spending the greater portion of it drinking russian stouts in various locations
that is the gift of Sunday afternoon drinking. as god intended it
as an aside, when I visited Ireland a few years back.. during my stay, I kid you not, my stool was as black as night. I attributed this to the sheer amount of Guinness I was consuming, combined with the introduction of black pudding to my diet. it makes me wonder, is that how it usually is for Irishmen? Carl? Owen?

the supply was ample, as I recall. I should have mentioned it. I wasn't even planning on updating the chronicles right now but, as it happens, well....
11/1/12 - 7:18pm - work gym (the nice gym). paper supply: 1 1/4 rolls. cleanliness: A
kind of wish there was some graffiti or something to comment on but this is just a very nice (for a gym) restroom. full suite with a full door. no opening in the bottom or anything. they also have the gym music pumping in here. so far I've heard Ozzy's 'Crazy Train' and 'Don't Stop Believing' (Journey)
whoever programs the music here actually has decent taste. I've heard Iggy, Smiths... who else? can't remember
actually got to wrap this up.
bye for now

i don't think those empanadas from last night are sitting well with me. i'll leave it at that. i don't want to say anything distasteful.
i can't believe it's going to be 95 degrees today. not sure what i should wear, or what i have clean. this is further complicated by the fact that i know our iron is broken (since i broke it, by smashing it). thus, none of my clothes are ironed. do you guys iron your shirts or just rock the wrinkles? call me anal, i can't wear a shirt that's all wrinkly. i'm not in high school any more. you kind of look like a slob if you walk around looking like you just rolled out of bed. just my opinion
as an aside, coincidentally, my cat is using the commode at this very time

If I must, I'll mist the shirt with a spray bottle, then put it in the dryer on high heat for 15 minutes. Not as good as ironing, but usually good enough. |

You can also just put a damp wash cloth in the dryer with the wrinkled shirt for 10 to 15 minutes for the same result. works well. just sayin. smb |

probably.
I don't hate American's, in fact I know loads of nice down to earth ones on twitter now.
Shame I have wasted so much of my time here really, as it turns out way too many uptight wankers like yourself here, this was kinda my first impression of the place actually, remember when I came on and made some flippant remark about Charles and Kim not intending to offend anyone, and you all jump on my fucking case?
Should have just left back then.
Go support your child murdering racist cunt of a president. I'd be ashamed to call yourself American if I were you.

I don't consider myself uptight. I would just prefer it if my chronicles weren't sidetracked by superfluous topics.
It interrupts the flow and, frankly, compromises the integrity of my writing.
Don't get me wrong, I certainly enjoy a stimulating discussion, and spontaneous discourse can yield unforeseen, interesting results, but I would really just prefer it if we didn't deviate from the format of this thread.
Thanks.

Yeah I don't have much of a life these days. I've got no money, no weed, I'm pretty bored and lonely. So I come on the internet to chat to people, which is why I am online a lot these days. I can't say I'm getting much out of this site these days though other than animosity, so yeah I guess the reparte has kind of descended into each of us trying to get one over on the other in some subtle way a bit. I'd probably be way more chilled if I could score some weed, but as it transpires I still can't get any, it's still illegal and people are still pandering the same bullshit, prejudiced views to me about it. So generally speaking, to sum my life up at the moment, I pretty much fucking hate everybody yes, especially you. Any more questions? I'm a bit busy watching a documentary on Felix Baumgarter just now so I might be a bit slow in responding.

damn dude, that's depressing as shit. i was going to say you are the most angry pothead ever, like, go smoke some weed or something. I would be angry if I couldn't get weed. Smoked some killer shit last night, smelled so good, tasted so good, and I was so fuckin high. Why don't you go fishing or hiking or something. You're way too angry. Or go to a bar or something and talk to girls or something. get out of the house. turn your computer off for a few days or something

Wow, never thought of going to a bar and talking to girls, that's a great idea! Ah but of course I'm totally skint, and besides everyone in Scotland is an asshole so that wouldn't work really. I tried this already. You go to a club, the music's shit, the beer is shit and expensive, you can't smoke any weed and everyone is standing outside smoking cigarettes. Then you have to go home at 3am. There is just no point whatsoever to this exercise. I go out occasionally just to feel like I have been out at least once in a while. Fishing. I'm vegetarian. Hiking. I do some of that, but usually the weather is shit. If I turn off my computer for a few days I've got nothing to do!
