| I'd like to see a Frank Black/Joe Satriani collaboration. They have quite a bit in common. Both are well known and respected in their circles but aren't super famous. Both are prolific. Although their styles are quite different, both are unique songwriters. I'd love to hear Frank's songwriting mesh with Joe's unique melodic lines and solo techniques. |

| In case anyone missed it in the other thread, Frank did a radio interview the other day and when asked about a new pixies album said he couldn't talk about it, that its under their publicist's control. Seems like a confirmation to me. |

Hugely anticipated My Bloody Valentine new album being out 22 years after Loveless means that there is still hope for a new Pixies album in 2013!

The organ in the middle of Bam Thwok is, I believe, a very old recording of Joey's Grandfather playing.

In the name of the great holly pixie, you'll be allowed to choose wich one of your organs you'll have to eat without anesthesia... I recommend gallbladder, it's not that usefull. Then Joey Santiago will play a guitar solo in place of the organ part. |

i hadn't seen anybody post these pictures since the failed attempt at simply linking them. these are the ones violet posted on the 24th and 27th of september. both taken in wales. pretty certain we'll get new pixies material this year in some form but whether it's an entire album .. i guess we'll see.

| I don't think the Breeders tour is proof there is no new album in 2013. They could release it at any time and tour it months later. The latest for the release would be in the fall with a tour right after. The tour would go on for probably a couple years anyway. |
