They sold out within minutes, seconds almost. Literally I was refreshing the page, it appeared, pu my order in, typed their stupid random words and boom: no tickets available. I thought the site was crashing, so I repeated that sequence for 40 minutes straight before they announced both nights in the Olympia were gone.

The brixton tickets are not for the 4 th night BTW I know that, but I don't know which of the first 3 nights they are for.

I will sell these tickets on ebay for whateer they go for, but I would rather sell them to a real true pixies fan like myself. Any other band I would milk it, but the pixies are special to me and I want the tickets to go to people who are passionate about them like me,

I have no income though so I will sell them at a great profit if people are prepared to pay for them.

But please know that you guys get first refusal, at face value + whatever it cost me to buy them and post them and all that, and a small donation to FB.net if you feel like it

I'll P(hopefully ( get the tickets in a few days, so let me know OK

peace and love

Charles, if you're reading this, please PLEASE consider doing 20th anniversary performances of Trompe Le Monde in a couple years. It is your best album (with the possible exception of Dog In The Sand) and fwiw a personal fave of Dave Grohl and Nick Reinhart (Tera Melos) among other notable performers.
Thanks.

Sam, you're a lucky guy. Just for the heck of it, I rang around a load of outlets, same story, "sold out everywhere". Go ahead and gloat. ;)

Carl, I'm not suggesting anything here but
if we hypothetically "removed" sam, it might be possbile to "borrow" his tickets.

Thank god this isn't a public forum... >_>

Apparently tickets and flights to Glasgow cost just over what I would have paid at home.

Damn it. missed out on Brixton tickets. Then to add insult to injury Seetickets sent me an email about Flaming Lips after standing tickets had already sold out. Definitely not a successful morning's work by me.

It doesn't seem right that Carl couldn't get tickets! I'll keep an eye out for you, mate, but knowing your skills with the Internet, you'll probably find out before I do!

god damn ticketmaster!
got down to Empire Music where they sell the tickets to find 50 girls waiting for Beyonce tickets.
As they were opening the doors they guy said "to be honest anyone waiting for pixies tickets they could be sold out, but hold on anyway"
9.05am SOLD OUT
there was a guy, 5th in line, and as he approached for Pixies tickets they turned him away,as well as the other 4(!!!) of us waiting with "all the single ladies"
Both dates, completely sold out, by 9.05am!!

Unhappy s_wrenn

Well lads come ahead, cos the only way you're getting these tickets is by prizing them out of my cold dead hands. I listened to doolittle first when i was 13. Now i'm 29 and i'm going to watch the masterpiece be performed live. Feel very lucky to be able too see them in the Olympia. Without doubt the best music venue in town. I agree with Pot about the o2, would have been good, but i'm not sure they'd sell that out.
The whole ticket selling system over here needs to be looked at, it is a joke. I have good friends who have been fans for 20 years and they have been bitterly dissapointed this morning. Maybe selling from one venue is the answer. Get in line and wait. I know its a bit of a luddite solution but it would mean those who wanted them most would probably get a ticket. Would f*ck the touts over anyway.

Got one ticket for le Zenith.
I could not resist. Ithought 'well I saw them in London last month, but...'
I like the concept of paying tribute to Doolittle. All I hope is that they will not skip any songs for that would be very disapointing, and that they will play without any pause during the set.
What is likely to happen is a 'Trompe le Monde' tribute tour for 2011. Then the band would happily disolve until next century.
Having a new album would be great under a different band name.

Got tickets for the 7th at Brixton! Hurrah! I've been out of the loop, just read a Seetickets email minutes before 9am! Their site was overloaded for a bit, but got them in the end. Anyone else here going to that night?

Well i'm now giving up on the scotland option too. I just would't be able to get days off (i'm lucky to have a job as it is)
So unless i murder a greedy ebayer, this will mean i've missed out on 4 pixies concerts!

Managed to get 2 tickets to glasgow....however, I was really after london. I'm in the Midlands so it's 3 hours less travel time!

If anyone got 2 spare standing for london on the friday and really wanted Glasgow, I would be more than happy to swap...let me know if interested...

If not, I'll be taking the high road north.

cheers

I ordered two tickets for Brussels this morning, but I still haven't received the confirmation e-mail. Since I was at work I asked my mum to order them for me, but she couldn't get on the ticket site. After trying for an hour I asked her to do it by phone, and it worked. But, no confirmation yet. I am so nervous and worried stiff I won't be able to go!

I won't survive this after missing the Stockholm concert and secret rehearsal while I was in town.
