I felt a little bit annoyed with Kim when I saw them at Brixton in 2004, there were loads of bits in songs where she just didn't bother to sing her lines, like she just couldn't be bothered. I hope that this time round, if they are going to rehearse the full album, albiet my third favourite Pixies album, that she at least gives us her best. The Pixies live are just not same without the full Black/Deal vocal arrangements.

I'm starting to like the solo acoustic shows. No one expects FB to play the songs just like they are on the album.
You can save lots of money by staying at home. |

For the Brixton 4 day residency, they could play all four albums, so the fans can choose which album they want to hear them play!

Just do one album per night, like Suede did a few years back. |

I feel spoilt that Ireland is getting two shows, but even if they were just doing one night, that fact that it's an indoor show in a more intimate venue (I've only seen them doing big outdoor things) is a real thrill. |

I think Doolittle is a good album but it's my least favorite of the bunch. |

As long as they play Velouria at the SECC in Glasgow... I will be happy.
I'm going to try and get a 3rd night ticket for brixton just in case though.
Only 2 hours to go!
:excited:

I dunno how much drunker I can get.
I'm just listening to trompe le monde and it's so full of rocky numbers that would suit mr thompson in his more mature vocals.

My friend has physically gone to drive to the nearest ticketmaster, but they use the same machines I'm sure. Best we can do is keep refreshing. I NEED STANDING TICKETS. |

Fucking ticketmaster, apparently they're selling Beyonce, Pixies and someone else today at 9. But it's not even like the site is slow, it's just as if they haven't released them. I could imagine heads rolling in their offices right now. |

And i'd like some sort of message from ticketmaster, like "we are experiencing technical difficulties, they will go on sale at 10:30" or something. |

There are usually a few people on the Forum nearer the time who have spares. Worth keeping an eye on the sites too. |

stargreen unusually seemed the best this morning. seetickets sold about 3 arena tours at the same time and crashed straight off, ticketmaster standing tickets vanished in minutes. typically poor planning.
