For people who liked the Animal Collective cd, the new Dirty Projectors cd Bitte Orca is really good and different.

For the Deerhunter fans, the EP Rainwater Cassette Exchange is really good as well to go along with Microcastle.

I'd rather be anywhere or doing anything

I smell the next band on a Judd Apatow or Diablo Cody movie soundtrack based that Camilo EP. I like it though - will buy tomorrow. Hope that doesn't sound like a bad thing - they seem like the John Hughes of our times with the soundtracks.

i can't get enough of the Apples in Stereo's "Velocity of Sound." i just wish i had it when i was in 7th grade. it definitely would have been a "pillar of awesomeness" for me.

i hear ya, benji.. just barely

Jose, panda's second album is different from 3rd, quite minimalistic, mostly voice and acoustic guitar, some piano, clapping. has a sort of monastery feel, very personal (i.e. i don't quite connect...)
thanks for the suggestion, will check.

"I always get the shakes before a drop."
Johnnie Rico just before the raid on the Skinnies.
I wonder if the artist got his inspiration from Heinlein’s Starship Troopers.
I'll have to check the music out at home.
