cargro, assuming yours was a serious question, in the US "holiday season" generally spans from our Thanksgiving (fourth Thursday in November) through Christmas and New Year's... fu's reference to Halloween was I think in jest. I've been ready to place my order for what seems like two years now... |

Does anyone have ANY idea when this is going to be released? Or at least available to buy/pre-order? As it is driving me mad checking a couple of times a day.
Apologies to anyone who got excited seeing this thread bumped to the top.

He said it'd be ready for the holidays, but with christmas fastly approaching and live in nimgimehjfgjhsdhkhd (sp?) just being released i find that doubtful - could still happen though, i'm just speculating |

had a dream last night i was on a quiz show and the question was "this clay man has been compared to the tin man from the wizard of oz" - i answered "who is der golem?"; funny thing is i wasn't on jeopardy. i woke up before i found out if the answer was right. hahaha.

If der Golem was a Pearl Jam song it would be "Release Me" If it were a Dylan song it would be "I Shall (Eventually) Be Released" |

Perhaps the delay in releasing this project can itself be seen as an example of the Golem myth, which at least in part is about the relationship between creator and created.
So, you know: "meta."
Or maybe I'm overthinking it... given enough time, I'm certainly capable of overthinking things. And Lord knows I've had enough time on this one.
Hold up, I think I promised to stop whining about this a while back. Whoopsy. |

2009 was the lamest year of being a FB-fan ever. Does Petit Fours even count as a 2009-record? February seems agos ago. I'm not blaming FB for this, but I hope 2010 will be much more rewarding.

If it does Petit Fours is my least favourite album in the Frank Black canon, half of it is unlistenable for me |

Yeah, I'd rather not count petits fours as a Frank Black record. That said, as far as 2009 goes, the Nijmegen thing was pretty good.
