Word from the bureaucrat: "Still no Golem release date. Boxed sets should be complete within a week or two but I can't guess exactly when they'll become available."
As soon as i hear otherwise, i'll let you guys know.

GD and NSE news
GRAND DUCHY is back in the studio after a break for Winston Calling working on their new album, tentatively titled "Let The People Speak".
B-SIDES for NonStopErotik are going to be created for a single from the record. Rumor has it that the track to be released as a single is Six-Legged Man.
Also in the rumor mill, NSE's scheduled release is in the spring time. Keep posted here for tour date announcements, too.
London filmmaker Judy Jacobs is doing a full length film to accompany NSE, which will hopefully be screened in various cities and/or released on DVD.
No word yet as to when or where NSE will be leaked but we can assure you it will be

We will be releasing a small quantity of copies of The Golem DVD (which includes the entire 1920's silent, German expressionist film 'The Golem', synced to the score by Black Francis).
Shipped across land and sea, each will make its way to a fan who writes to us, explaining why they would like to host a sneak preview home screening party of The Golem. Those who are selected will get to host a private screening for themselves and any other friends and fans in their neighborhood.
Send an email to info@blackfrancis.net and let us know why you would like to host a screening. Do you have a cool home theater system? Friends or acquaintances who would especially like to join you for such an event? We want to hear from you.

This shit is depressing me. Last week it seemed the box sets were about to be sold, and now we have to wait until after the preview screenings? Does that mean another 2 or 3 months? Totally sucks.

Sorry all, I've been out of the forum forever, I kind of gave up back when all the threads kept getting lost, so I'm not sure if this has been covered: Okay so Der Golem is coming out as an extremely limited edition, I guess movie, at some undetermined point in the future. Is the soundtrack going to be released on its own, as a cd or itunes or something? I understand the thing is supposed to go with the movie, but honestly I don't really care I just want the damn music, and I'd rather not sit by the computer with a thousand bucks or whatever it's going to cost, poised with my finger over the buy button for the limited edition deal for the next two years.
