I'm sure I'm in late or/and naïve, but why dont you start the site on a free.fr, it's free and it has 10 gigas. Is it too small?

Yeah, way too small, not nearly enough bandwidth, etc.

The kind of traffic we generate and the active server page requirements don't exactly put us in the free hosting category. Sadly.
