I always type "the Pixies" but remove the "the" because of trobrianders.
Oh you know what though. I don't see it matters. If I don't often say "the Pixies" myself, it's just out of habit.

I remember that clutch of late 80s, early 90s bands, centred around 4AD, trying to distinguish their little movement. Seems awfully quaint now. Funny how two otherworldly Boston bands came in on that tiny little English slipstream.

Maybe...I'm not sure yet. I don't have anybody to go with and it just seems strange thinking about going to a gig alone, although I'm sure many do it.
I might just buy a (fucking ridiculously expensive) ticket and do it. I'll have to just check the date.

Already a chick-magnet, tro, but it did come in handy as a conversation topic one night a couple of months ago. Had 4 dates with the girl now (she's an absolutely awesome person, by the way) and if she wasn't living 200 miles away at the moment it would be many more, I'm sure!
