Hello Frank and Mr. or Ms. Tour Manager,
If you happen to be planning a BLUEFINGER North American Tour please consider coming back to CANADA (and Winnipeg)! Not sure if you’ve heard but the Canadian dollar is at a 30 year high in relation to the US $!!
WOW!! What a beautiful chart!
TORONTO (Reuters) - The Canadian dollar climbed to within reach of 95 U.S. cents on Monday, continuing its run to three-decade highs on strong commodity prices and expectations of interest rate hikes……
Ya, it’s pretty much a goldmine up here!! And thanks for the comprehensive fall tour in 2006! I was lucky enough to check out 3 shows. All fantastic! And I know if you came back in support of Bluefinger the attendance would be very strong. I’m pretty sure our local indie/college station (3rd place in the 25-40 age demographic) will be adding Threshold Apprehension to their playlist. I was speaking with one of their dj’s the other day and they didn’t have it yet so he played something off of Black Letter Days instead. Plus I’ve got another good friend who is a dj at the top commercial power rock station in wpg and she is in fact a HUGE Frank Black/Black Francis fan!! She promised me she will try her hardest to sneak in BLUEFINGER tracks in between Nickelback songs.
Anyways have a great euro tour.

No comments on my currency chart!! It took me some serious time to find it and post it properly! I’ll translate it into beer terms. Back in 2002 when I went to the states to watch the Minnesota Vikings play it cost me $30 Canadian for a case of beer ($19 US @ 1.58 fx). Today it only costs $20.14 Canadian! ($19 US @ 1.06 fx) WOW!! That’s exciting stuff!
I do hope Frank makes a stop in the Maritimes if they do a NA tour. I’ve always wanted to go and that would be a great excuse to go and visit the area. And I really like that Nova Scotia thread……http://forum.frankblack.net/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=18342.
Or when Frank posted last year and asked for suggestions of where to play and what venues! That was great.

.." Hey there sacred patrons!
Do you live in a city, town, or hamlet where Frank Black has never played a show? I'd like to hear about that; is there a cool club? A killer bar? A lonely little theatre? Contrary to the usual business, a musician is not ALWAYS looking for the biggest paycheck. We like to go to new places and have new experiences, go down a different road, see where showbiz might take us. By the way, I enjoy this website. While it is not affiliated with me officially, it saves me from having to get all webby and what not, and I really appreciate all of the members' participation. It does me a great service. Thank you.
