I know this is bit of a lame topic but there is a reason. Living in China, I often have cravings for food I used to eat in England. Sometimes I wake up and lie in bed thinking about what I miss. Anyway..
big juicy kebabs in naan bread meat and potatoe pies fry-ups Chicken Madras My mum's lasagne Crumpets Fish and Chips - with salt and vinegar
God, I'm hungry now. Any thoughts? |

The crumpet can be vastly improved with half an inch of melted cheddar cheese and a soupcon of marmite. Yummy.

Living in the USA, "Bangers and Mash" is a novelty item we get at "Irish" pubs. But I always get it, and it's always delicious. I wish it was one of out standard breakfast foods. They have "British Bangers" at the supermarket, but I have no idea how authentic they are.
My favorite food is tomatoes and lemon juice. I'll put either one or both on anything.
I've recently discovered that Cumin is the best spice ever. It's the secret ingredient to making the best guacamole.

Despite my love for foreign food, my favourite meal is still a roast dinner. Chicken in particular.
Ice cream is still my favourite food.

i'm generally a big fan of toast of all varieties. toast with just butter/spread, with marmite, with peanut butter, with cheese, with beans, spanish toast with garlic and tomato rubbed on it...

Do you not just have sausages of any kind? Surely you must! Any meat with mash goes pretty well anyway imo! and ketchup!
