Just wondering what posted signs make you laugh. I'm hoping people list signs that have struck them as odd, whether it was the text or the stick-figure like images. Please don't list phoney 'signs' such as those on t-shirts, etc. I'm talking real signs.
A particular favorite of mine, for example, is BEWARE OF THE DOG. We've all seen BEWARE OF DOG, but sometimes you'll see one that adds 'THE' in it.
That's the signpost up ahead...

I took this pic some months ago in Vermont (near Kathryn's house to be exact). I laughed every time I saw that sign - at least twice a day. I guess it's quite banal in the US but... it's so American to my French eyes.

When we moved to this house there were BEWARE OF DOG signs allover the place,
but the people before us never had a dog.

Around Christmas, I drove by a store with a sign announcing, "Knives make great gifts."
I've seen several churches use this really corny joke: "CH__CH. What's missing?"

Hooker, OK
Directions: SW of Liberal, KS - Intersection of US 54 and US 64.
Hooker is tiny, but their civic good sense is big. Signs welcoming you at the town borders feature paintings of 19th century prostitutes. The town's American Legion baseball team is named the Horny Toads. Bumper stickers and T-shirts for sale boast slogans such as "Not your typical Hooker" and "I could've been a prince, but it's more fun being a Horny Toad." And as you leave, a sign encourages "Why don't you come back and see us sometime?" Well done Hooker! Our only suggestion: add the word "Kwikee" to the sign in front of the "Klean Kar Wash."

I love how the signs when entering Delaware identify it as "Home of Tax-Free Shopping." They know why we Pennsylvanians go there!

Looks like they forgot to put the red slash through the sign.
If I went there and I don't speak dutch, I'd think that meant that its okay to fire up a gagger in the street.

Not technically the sort of signs youve all been posting, but outside the Morrisons supermarket near me, they have these lamposts which have a sign that reads;
"DO NOT SECURE BICYCLES OR DOGS TO THIS POST. ANY BICYCLES ARE DOGS SECRUED TO THIS POST WILL BE TAKEN AWAY AND MAY BE DESTROYED"
I had another one a minute ago, but cant remember....it will come back to me.
My boyfriends dad recieved a book of all these ridiculously hilarious signs for christmas. Wish i could remember some now...hours of amusement.
