Nice blog entries. So good to see the Pixies lighting up another continent. It's obvious you'd been waiting for this for a long time. Oh, and your video is hilarious. I love that you put considerable effort into the editing and presentation -- very funny.
And welcome to the forum, even if you've been around for a long time.

Thanks guys. It really was a great night. I hear that Charles has been having a few throat issues since the Luna Park gig. Had been thinking he made do some solo shows while over here, but it does not look like he will now.
I was amazed at how young the crowd was - most of the people around me were 18-20. I was expecting 35+.
There have been a few people saying that the band were not very tight at Luna Park. There were a few songs that sounded a bit loose - I think Kim Deal said "That was fucking shit!" at the end of Debaser. However, all-in-all it was a good show.

I wish this had happened a week later. I'm staying at a friends' whose house looks out at Luna Park... I can hear the screaming kiddies all day and night.
