I'm trying to sum up the news/rumours we have about Fr'ank's forthcoming European tour. I guess we'll have the official PR in a couple of days but it's more fun trying to find the dates ourselves... So, for now we're aware of the following dates:
There was a website in the UK (efests) which had a rumour about Frank playing at the T in the Park festival in Scotland on the 7th/8th July. Don't know if it's from anywhere credible or just random yammering, but there you go.
If time's a drug then Big Ben's a giant needle injecting it into the sky.

Not specifically directed at Denis, but this has been bothering me a bit: Why is it that these dates only tickle in one at a time and only when a fellow forum member stumbles upon them?
Are gigs still beeing negotiated at this time and we get the dates in "realtime" so to speak? Or is the tour more or less ready planned and FB's management is just relying on the local venue/promoter to advertise the show?
I guess it's still quite a long way away, I mean we get really excited about Frank coming to our hometown, but if you're actually playing the gigs then promoting a show 3 or 4 months away isn't really a pressing concern I don't imagine. I'm sure they'll promote it properly in due course.

Will, a show in Birmingham or Cardiff would be quite literally right up my street. But anyway, it'll be glorious to see him on tour.
Kinda expect it to be a full band tour then, especially since he's playing festivals. I hope the story about Joey joining him is more than just a rumour.
Since festivals are not an option for me, should I try to get tickets for one of the gigs in France or the Netherlands before they sell out, or should I gamble and wait for more (and nearer) shows to be announced?
I don't know but that bugs me too. Tickets for the gigs in Bordeaux, Nantes and Toulouse are already on sale but they're far from Germany so you can wait a few days more.
Yeah, thought so myself. The thing is, I would buy tickets for those shows right this moment, if I knew that there would be my only chance to see him play on this tour.
Yes, it's been a while, not exactly sure why though. I kept reading the forum, except the Bluefinger threads... I assumed the leaking of the album was a joke Then I read all of it, and of course, I had to find the album. And I did. So far I've listen to it 19 times, and I can't say I'm disappointed... The last three albums were pretty good, but all of them require a certain melancholic mood to enjoy it properly. And I'm not to often in that kind of mood these days. Bluefinger feels like an album for any kind of mood. There's even a Solid gold on the album! (Threshold apprehension) (Solid gold is the kind of song I listen to when I'm feeling happy or want to feel happy) Quite a surprise, in a way I accepted the fact that Chuck was getting older, and the years would mellow his music a little. And then there was this album. It sums up everything I like about FB, and even adds something extra, the fact that it's a concept album.
...and I could go on and on, but I won't
Talk to you soon in Rotterdam! (not sure about Nijmegen and Amsterdam yet)
According to the fb.net frontpage the shows of the European tour will be full band shows. Which full band will it be?
The FM/RM band? Jason/Dan/Violet? EDF? Joey? The Werchter festival changed the text on their website, so I doubt if Joey will be there.
...
Don't trust the frontpage, I updated it myself! That said, it's very likely the tour will be with a band, especially since IceManCometh fuond who's gonna play the bass:
