I am new to FB, but as I navigate my way through this website I notice how many different countries are represented. I think this is cool that i am able to have conversations with people across the Atlantic (or the Pacific). We all have at least one thing in common...our love for FB and his music. If only everyone listened to Frank Black maybe we could all just get along in the world. just a thought... |

I m sure they can feel the ground trembling when he's screaming. If a very cynical fan was around here he would make a joke like "All you need is Frank"... but I won't |

ok I understand deaf people wouldn't be able to hear FB, but they could read his lyrics and participate in this website unless they don't have fingers to type. Then what if you have illiterate people who can not read or write or type. There are so many different reasons why it wouldn't work. and why it was just a thought. Sorry if I offended anyone with my comment. I didn't intend to. I just wanted to make a point that something like a common love for music could bring so many together. |

I m 100 % sure you didnt offended anybody, these were innocent jokes. Then dont get offended now that I told you! I actually have the same kind of thoughts that your first post sometimes. But if you dig it deeply, I dont think people all over the world have ANY problem at all between them. Their governments do have A LOT. |

that would be sweet. and since they are not able to hear their other senses are stronger and therefore they would feel the beat (and him screaming). |

Governments are the problem. Americans need a disclaimer about how our view is not necessarily the view of our government officials. (shh. cant say to much or the secret service will come knocking...). Thanks for the reassurance. |

That is true. people complain but don't want to do anything. They either ignore it or they want someone else to change their circumstances for them. Oh and lets not forget our parents are the blame for our problems. No one ever screws up their own life. Is this the same in other countries? |

Little known fact, I listen to the 9th Symphony every night while meandering into slumber, lately it's been George Szell and the Cleveland orchestra. And by the way, are you a real person? You're freaking me out.

Pace yourself. Your enthusiasm is great, but 50 posts in 2 or 3 days is overwhelming. |

I was gonna guess that. Here, they have a section next to the candles with all different kinds of music, like ocean cds, and celtic cds and inspirational stuff like that. It's an very aromatic section, like all those candles and stuff. And you can play any of the cds by pressing a button. It's kind of funny and cool but I'm always too self-conscious to hang out there and sample all the stuff. Thinking about it, I'm gonna buy one of those jesus candles next time I'm there. They're a tall glass cylinder with a jesus print on it. I think they're made in china. They look like they wouldn't burn very well, but I got to get one. If it doesn't burn right I'm sure I can find some other thing to do with it.
So how long have you been listening to the ocean cd?

I am probably the most uncool person. I am the typical nerdy English major with a technical writing cognate. Been in college forever and still drive the same car i drove in 97. I am 32 with 3 youngsters and feel like i am only 22. i am actually quite boring. Silly, but boring' |

Since we're so far off-topic, Richard Jeni is dead. Shot himself in the face. I would too if I were that unfunny. Guess he didn't listen to his ocean cd very much and soothe himself with walmart candle aromatherapy.

Now I can't say too much about candle aromatherapy, but the ocean cd is soothing. You all should try it. |

I'm gonna go ahead and say that this is probably to stupidest fucking thing I've ever read on the forum. "Big Steaming Pile of Me" is one of the greatest stand up specials EVER.

And actually dayanara, I WAS around for Old Man's homo erotic tales. I totally forgot about that. Hilarious. Where'd Old Man go at anyway? He always provided the necessary drama to keep this place interesting.
