That's nothing compared to my advance dvd of "UN CHIEN ANDALOU 2", A 5 HOURS MOVIE WRITED AND DIRECTED BY BLACK FRANCIS AND ACTED BY THE PIXIES, THE CATHOLICS, VIOLET AND EDF (and Crispin Glover as Frank Black himself). Like the jacket says, "This time, they slice up testicules"

That's good info. Thanks, datubs. And since the wiki didn't include a pronunciation, I dragged out my dictionary and looked it up. It's pronounced like "dutchy."
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

I really dig these lyrics. Frank writes as good a rhyme as anyone in hip-hop. I'm really excited to hear the Grand Duchy album and the Black Francis album.
So, I'm wondering, is this song about Fort Wayne, Indiana? Or is there another Fort Wayne. I went to Fort Wayne once when I was a kid. I seem to remember crossing a big old bridge coming into town. Well, I guess that doesn't make it different from pretty much half the cities out there. Anyway, stick another push-pin in the huge map of places Frank Black has sung about or mentioned in his catalog of songs. You know, someone with more Web design skills than I have should put such a map online -- with links to the wikis for those places or whatever.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

"New Frank Black album, or Bond sequel"? Wow, you did this in a hurry.
Shouldn't you write something about the Best Of too? Not really official but since it's announced in the CV press release and all...

Boo hiss to best ofs. I know a bunch of people who got the (horribly lacking) Pixies best of after they got back together, having never heard them, and promptly tossed it (and the pixies) aside. I have since forced them to listen to the actual albums and they now love them. I do not want to have to go through this procedure with a shitty FB best of too |

The Pixies Best Of was what got me to buy the rest of their albums, and then all of Franks albums. I owe my love of FB to that Best Of album.

It will probably give FB some publicity he deserves. I hope the Man himself gets to choose whats on it. That would be interesting indeed. |

Makes you wonder with all the music there is to choose from exactly what they will choose. I can't see it being less than two discs! |

A Frank Black "best of" could be amazing! There's so many albums and so many songs to choose from. It could be many things but one of them would be 'the best mix tape ever made', kind of thing. |

Perhaps one disc will be a traditional best of and a second disc could have live/rare material? I'd definitely buy that! |

I agree. I have little tracks floating here and there on mp3's and it would be nice to have the rare stuff on one disc. |
