The problem is, people exepect you to be drunk in this thread. Go post in the other threads instead. It's more fun to try and work out which posts are the pissed posts.

Another Friday night has come and gone, and I managed to put away a whole two beers before I decided I'd had my fill. Whatever happened to the days of drinking beer like it was water? I'm just 10 years removed from college, and I can hardly drink enough to get drunk anymore before I go off to bed.

Yep, Friday has come and gone but there's always tonight. I don't even feel up to drinking much at the moment, but that could change after the football results are in.
[EDIT] Well, I went out, had a few drinks to celebrate our win over Man City, but didn't get drunk. I'm just about to have one of those kebabs now that you do in the microwave and are rock solid when you try to eat them.

I feel your pain coastline, or rather, I USED to feel your pain. I was fighting the "grandpa syndrome" for a while too. I found myself wondering what happened to the good 'ol days when I could drink like a champ. Back before I spent my evenings yelling at the damn neighbor kids to turn down their devil music or explaining to people how much further a dollar could stretch in my day.
Bottom line: You gotta WANT it! Try starting earlier in the day, like noonish. |

Saturday night was the best! It even included a drunken trip to bowling alley, dancing, nudity, sunrise, smoking ... the only thing missing was a Frank Black show.

I'm not drunk myself, but on our coach to and from the Charlton vs Wigan match there was this group of lads, can't have been older than 14, all downing bottle after bottle of Stella and whatever else they had on them. Twas quite amusing seeing them staggering about needing the toilet every two minutes. They were obviously drinking as much as they could to impress each other.

I'm on mini-vacation here, sans kids,
polished off a bottle of red and about to walk over to a pub.
I'll be on "vacation" until Sunday.
I bet I get bored really quick.
I don't know what to do anymore unless I'm doing at least 10 things at once.
Relaxation is easier said than done.
