damn straight. good to space it out. though I've heard (not necessarily reliably) that doing it occasionally is, in the long run, more damaging than doing it regularly. huh? okay. anyway, it's nice and relaxing. far more than cigarettes are.

My sig comes from the Sonic Youth record Daydream Nation, the song is called Providence. The quote is from Mike Watt of the Minutemen and fIREHOSE. The track is just music and Mike Watt's voice on SY's answering machine, asking Thurston if he found a bag full of tapes and cables that he had lost at a gig the previous day. Watt was calling to remind Thurston that he may have thrown the bag out along with some trash that Watt had handed him to toss out. "Mota" is marijuana, so Watt's just letting his friend know to ease up on it.

I tried to get changed mid whitey it felt like it took a week and a half, I was forcing my body to move but it was still like a tenth the normal speed of things. And it was the coffee flavoured ones in the box that no one likes that they fed me. I was too ill to argue.

I used to be a huge Jersey Series fan, as well as a Kevin Smith fan. Seeing as how I live in Jersey, a few of my friends and I decided to go to the Secret Stash, the home of everything Kevin Smith. When I was there, I bought the Clerks animated series DVD, which is great by the way, and I met Fanboy, Walter Flannagan. He was pretty cool and we chatted for a few minutes.
I lift weights, but I don't sweat. I go for a swim, but I don't get wet. |

I may be smoking too much weed lately. I bought a bag a month or two ago because I figured it was summer and that it'd be a good time to just sit around, get high and watch the tube, but most of my friends just aren't into smoking weed anymore. At least no friends of mine around here. They've over-indulged in the past, as have people around them, and now they just have a bad association with it. So I was getting high by myself a lot simply because I had it and figured it shouldn't go to waste. That wasn't working too well.
Now my roommate has finished up a grueling semester of college. He's just got one more semester left and he's done. And his girlfriend lives 5 hours away, so she's not around enough to occupy him, so he's suddenly been into smoking with me the last few days. I've lived with him for almost two years and he only smoked a few times when we first lived together, then quit entirely around Feb of 2003, so it's kind of baffling for him to suddenly be into it again. But hey, works for me, someone to smoke with.
