You're all reading too much into it. It's obviously something that was written in capitals on some girl's t-shirt in Holland.

Whether you got it right or not Kees, that was a fantastic interpretation. Definitely the most plausible thing yet.
And aren't you havin' fun? |

Hi billgoodman, I am from Rotterdam as well, living right in the city centre... I have to admit that I am impressed by your interpretation of the Blauwe Vingers being related to Zwolle, could well be correct! The reason I am guessing in favor of Delft is that I do not know of any great artists from Zwolle.
Note to Jefrey: I certainly won't disagree that we might all be reading too much into it. However, your assumption that we have girls in Holland with the chest size required to fit Frank's post is unfortunately wrong… |

Ha ha, but they must have long legs, and that can't be all bad! Every Dutch person I've ever met has been like 6'4".

I did not know that, never having seen King Kong. Given the era in which the original was made, I can't help but wonder if the name was inspired by Clarence Darrow, particularly considering her character's role.

Basically Babel Fish provides a crude translation from one language to another. It is not capable of dealing with any linguistic finesse such as the differences in grammar between languages. As a consequence one always ends up with something that sounds rather strange, but very much Like Frank Black's post. You can find Babel Fish here: http://www.babelfish.altavista.com/ Even though you'll get an odd result, it sure goes a long way in helping understand Chinese...
As an interesting side note, Babel Fish borrows its name from a tiny fish that Arthur Dent pops in his ear after being told to do so by Ford Prefect. This allows Arthur Dent to understand what the Aliens are saying. How? Well, the Babel Fish feeds on brainwave energy only to excrete a translated version. If this side note sounds like something that should pass through a Babel fish itself in order to be understood, then please read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams. You can find it here:
http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Hitchhikers-Guide-Galaxy/dp/0345453743/sr=8-4/qid=1169768738/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4/002-6516123-4091267?ie=UTF8&s=books
Oh, and please, do yourself a favour and don't pass by the book in favour of the movie, you'd really be missing out!

He's playfully apologizing for causing such confusion through his intentional original post in "Engrich."
These recordings are either of a solo nature with just him and a guitar, or he is only laying down guitar demos for other musicians to follow at a later date, or acting as a sideman or collaborator on another musician's work.
No Pixies (small people) are involved.

For what it's worth, I found the following quote on Wikipedia:
"Archaeological finds indicate that the area surrounding Zwolle was already inhabited by an ancient Isala tribe around 1500 B.C."
Billgoodman, I am dropping my guess of Delft in favour of Zwolle. Also I am dropping my guess that it will be Pixies album, I think Tiny Concerts has a good point when he says "No Pixies (small people) are involved."
Well Frank, just please us with more goodness in whatever capacity, and I'm sure we'll all be delighted! |
