| Fumanbru, thanks for the very kind words, I much appreciate it. The reason I have kept my trap shut is that I got an email from The Man himself (I cannot begin to describe how shocked and appreciative I was/am!!!). In that email he said he would tell me a bit more, but only if I were to promise to not spread any of the information. Since a man is only as good as his word, I have kept completely quiet. So for all those who want to pry me, please don't bother, I really won't tell until The Man gives me explicit permission. In having said this and to get back to your question, I have been on the forum on a near daily basis, but reading only. On a final note, I do agree with Jefrey: get reading! ;-) |

and isn't frank the best! i can't think of a top notch, well respected artist that does more for his fans. non stop quality music, touring, youtube videos, cryptic posts and constant interaction with his fans! what more can a fan really ask for? i am not worthy!

i agree fu, fb is the best and he and Violet do way more for the fans than anyone would ever expect. other than the music fb is always going way above and beyond.... |

Anyone think these songs might have been intended for a Pixies release, but since someone didn't feel right about releasing a new album (...ahem...kim...cough....), FB/BF is releasing them himself under the name Black Francis?

On Black Francis' youtube page it states that the last time he logged in was 4 days ago, he's watched 94 videos, and that the country he's in is the UK. "Black Francis detective agency" also appears on this page.
What does this mean? Nothing, i just couldn't let this thread drift away down the board like it didn't exist anymore.

I only log into MySpace like one a month, but Frank Black has disappeared from my friends list. Can this be related? Is he systematically destroying all connections from himself and his alter egos?
My feelings are not hurt or anything, but it seems like someone would have to actively go out and repeal "friendship" status from MySpace. Is anyone else still "friends" with Frank Black?
