Knowing the folks at CV, I'd say it's most likely shipped when it moved to processed (the snip that Denis posted earlier confirms that to me) and they just didn't get around to emailing.

Oh, the wait is absolutely sinister. Completely torturous.

I assume product, meaning CD ready-to-ship, is delayed. After all, you don't have to be a bloody genius to generate a database of orders, print labels, and affix them to bubble-wrap envelopes in advance. Doesn't matter how many thousands you've got. That should all have been done prior to Monday. Stuff into envelopes on Monday for shipment on Tuesday. And ideally product would have been available days before Monday, so the whole thing could have been shipped Monday. So, product must be delayed. I've been there. Distribution doesn't take bloody genius, just common sense. I realize the whole thing has been rapidly arranged, from performance to product, but distribution should be the easy part.

I just got this note from recordstore.uk.co:
Thanks for ordering from Recordstore! Order 714096 has been shipped to:
[address deleted]
So, it looks like mine has shipped, albeit two days late. Good enough for me. I wasn't expecting it to arrive for a couple weeks anyway.
Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho? |

I just asked them to send me my password so I could check the order status, and when I checked my email, I got both my password and that same "Order has been shipped" message. I just hope it gets here before I leave for the holidays.

Agreed, wholeheartedly. Mine is still "processed". One excuse I would be willing to accept is that this album has gone Gold in its first week of release. Otherwise, stamp that shit and drop it in the mail slot.

So I got the "shipping" email but my order is still "processed" on the website. Does that mean Dean was correct in assuming the CDs were actually shipped on Monday?

As for eMusic, I'm waiting to hear back from someone on why it's not available there yet and if it will be.

Seriously, who cares about emusic. It comes with a DVD, why would anyone want to buy the mp3 files?

Fear not ~ I have it on good authority that the Irish postal system is second to none. They deliver.

Just got mine this morning, the package is gorgeous. Time to give it a listen.
Edit: Just noticed, on SMYT it's spelt "Massif Centrale" but on Christmass it's spelt "Massif Central"

I subscribe to eMusic, so downloading the music portion this morning would mean I could listen to it *today* on my commute! As is, my package from the UK won't arrive here in the US until New Year's or later. |

Yes, it's a spelling mistake on SMYT.
