Can anyone here sing well?
If so, what's your highest and lowest note, respectively? |

Well, since no one's claimed it, I am the best singer on the forum. I can hit notes you've never heard of before.

I can sing really low. My music teacher once told me I had a 64-foot stop, which made me think twice. Apparently it's an organ reference.
Boom boom!

I can hit G#5 in head voice (G#5?) but am pretty crap at holding notes. I've got a pretty high falsetto..dunno how low I can go.

I'm not a bad singer, I guess. I don't know what the highest note I can reach is, though. I don't have a great range.

I'll bet Frank cannot shatter a crystal goblet (unlike Jim Gillette of Nitro).
Too bad Jim Gillette isn't on this forum. |

He "claimed" that he could shatter a crystal goblet. He came on Mythbusters and could not do it without a rediculous amount of amplification - more than any band/vocalist would ever use. You probably could have amplified his fart and it would have worked! |

my range has gotten higher lately so I´ve been working on reextending those low notes I used to get as well as the higher ones. At moment I sing from the lowest E on guitar and highest a B, 19th fret on high E string of guitar.

ridiculous: adjective. Worthy of ridicule. Pronounced: ri-dick-you-luss.
There is no hard 'e' Unless you want to be funny and say RE-diculous and really emphasise the 're'.
And I have now made my daily contribution to the "Dean's a loser" fund.

Beside Frank Black I am probably the best singer on that board. Maybe Cassandra Is might challenge me... though I haven't seen him live yet! I am longing this experience.

I'll tell you what's ridiculous: calling "ridiculous" a noun. It's an adjective.

'Tis indeed. On a pipe organ, if an eight foot stop is pulled, the note sounds at the pitch it is. For example, if you play a middle C, it will sound like a middle C. A four foot stop causes the note to sound an octave higher, two foot is two octaves higher, 16 foot is an octave lower, 32 foot is two octaves lower, sixty-four foot is three octaves lower, etc. It would be very rare to find an organ with a 64 foot stop, but there are some. The organ I often play on has a couple of 32 foot pedal stop, and when you play a low note, the auditorium almost literally rumbles.
