I've heard of an English candy called 'Twirls'. Are these good?

Yes, Twirls are a personal fave. They're lovely with a cup of tea.

Has anyone ever bitten of the two ends of a Twirl, and then used it as a chocolate straw? Try it with milk!

You can do this with lots of things. I first learnt it with Tim Tams and cups of tea in Australia.

We do that over here in the U.S. with Red Vines (strawberry, or something, flavored licorice).

Twizzlers would work, they're the ones with holes in the middle. I don't think red vines are thick enough.

If you suck hard enough you can use anything as a straw. Except rocks. I learned that the hard way...

Don't give up on those rocks, you'll suck them one day.

Really? I've used a twizzler before. You just have to bite off the end.

I think Coke would work nicely. Coca-Cola, not cocaine. Although that is an option.
