"Why don't we do it in the road" was listed but in between Horrible Day and I'll be Blue was "GYANESHWAR" (new song!)
Marty Brown wasn't there, so no Dirty Old Town.
Kelly, you sure are a pretty thing, even more so in person (oh yeah, say hello to your husband for me)

Hey OldMan....
Pleasure meeting you at Grimey's last night.....I'm glad you put that little bug in Frank's ear (Good Job)! I also very much appreciate you taking my picture with Frank. He was so down-to-earth...I wish I could have talked to him for a while but soooo many people wanted to meet him. Anyway, you took lots of pix for several people....I was the one with the FB & the Catholics shirt on...from their first release. I'd love to see the pic when ya get a chance...but please don't go out of your way to send it today or anything....just whenever you get a chance.
Hope to see ya at some more shows...

Kevin, I've downloaded the pictures and I can't find about 5-6 from Grimeys. You picture with Frank is missing. I'll try downloading again, but I don't know...
Hey man, before you come looking to kick my ass, I've got one of the FMRM promo posters signed by Frank and Billy Block that I would like to send to you. Email me (richardhedgepath@netscape.net) and get me your mailing address and I'll get that right out to you.
I know its inexcusable, but I don't know what happened to your picture. Fucking Ghosts in the Machine. Sorry Man.

No problem OldMan.....the way I look at it, I didn't have a camera of my own with me so I can't complain when you were so kind to offer your camera in the first place. Sh*t happens. I'll send ya my mailing address though. Thanks so much for that.

Great show! Wow! Richard, Kelley -- it was awesome to meet both of you. Man... I've got my frank black fix for awhile.
David Hood and Spooner Oldham made appearances. And even John Tiven joined the stage for a few numbers. The band was rocking They were right on.
One of the other songs Frank played for the solo intro was Abstract Plain. Wow.
The band played Calistan and really got into a groove on that one.
No encore, though. Probably because it was getting late. Although, I'm paranoid that Frank was pissed cause I grabbed his guitar pick from the stage floor in the middle of a song. Probably not, though.
Does anybody want to carpool up to the Lexington show at the end of the month?

i wish you all could see every show so we can feel the joy that echoes from your words about gigs we have no chance of attending. From a fan who hasn't seen Frank Black for some years and counting (excluding the mischevious little imps), I thank you.
Now.....more chat, more pics, please!!! Ten percenter? Was it with distortion or pedal steel guitar?

Always a pleasure. You gotta love this place, "all things Frank".
Frank's band sounded great last night, and Frank was in top form. He directed the evening's show beautifully. He was relaxed, in charge, and very entertaining. He seem to enjoy being host to his band and special guests, commenting more than a few times about "looking for that Night Train to Georgia" when David Hood and Spooner Oldham were sitting in.
He appeared to be very proud of his music and the musicians that made his Nashville records, and he's really showing 'em both off well this tour!

Yeah Carl, that's Jon.
He sat in on Los Angeles and sang backup vocals on Headache.
[headache was an addition to the setlist]

Hey Girl, yeah, thanks to you I've got pictures.
I'll work on getting copies of Billy's video. You know, the lighting sucked for video and I didn't have the ability to move around. I wanted to get up and crawl around the stage with the camera but I knew I couldn't do that. And I was limited by the length of the camera's power cord. Who the fuck knows how it's going to turn out. I hope its decent.
So, thanks for taking pictures with my camera.
Post up alot more of yours when you get a chance and we need to upload them to the photo gallery here at fb.net. I'll probably do that this weekend when I have some time.

oh yeah, and Greg (misterwoe) I'm looking forward to seeing all of your pics.
And, hey man, it was really cool hooking up with you and Kelly (kfs). fb.net was well represented on the front row.
Also, I'll be glad to send a disc (or via email) of any of my pictures to you and kfs, and copies of Billy Block's video when I get it and a vhs copy of the in-store if I get one of those from this guy I met there.
