I bet it was easier to production design Radiohead videos when they had actual melodies in their songs. Damn, I loved that song when it came out. Still do.
EDIT: I just checked out the "response" videos on the Radiohead video. The first one is pretty good. He misses a couple notes, but hey, I wouldn't vote him off "American Idol."

yeah, they needed to speed it up a little more. it's interesting though. show how absolutely low budget that video was. that could probably win some kind of award for lowest budget video. it probably cost a few hundred dollars, if that
