Anyone see this yet? I went with my entire family for Father's Day, excited about it as I like Jack Black AND Napoleon Dynamite quite a bit. Needless to say, it was boring, not funny, and absolutely abysmal. 90 minutes seemed like 4 hours. Very dissapointed, I was. What are some other views?

Haven't seen it yet, I hated Napoleon Dynamite with a passion, but I like Jack Black and the preview seemed entertaining enough that I thought I'd give it a chance. So I'll go see it, but with low expectations...

Haven't seen it yet but i'll give it a try anyway. Jack Black usually delivers (although am i the only one who didn't like School of Rock?)
Anyone looking forward to Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny?

It could be good. I'm a little wary of it. I'm sure I won't bother going to se it in the cinema.

Anytime a movie that features a guy throwing a bee hive at another guy deserves complete attention.

I have never heard such a thing as somebody not liking Napoleon Dynamite. Sweet jumps. A guy throwing a steak at another guy. Cake building. Ligers. It's all there.

The cake building was the only point I actually laughed in the entire movie, Scott... maybe I wasn't in the mood when I saw it? But I almost stopped the movie many times throughout.

I don't trust anyone that didn't like Napoleon Dynamite. I also don't trust anyone that liked it so much they would wear a "Vote For Pedro" shirt. I pretty much don't trust anyone.

Napoleon Dynamite was one of the worst movies I ever saw.

Their Movie Idea: Hey, let's have wacky characters. Something funny is bound to happen.

I was actually excited to see Nacho Libre until I read it was directed by the Napoleon Dynamite fella.

Well, it sounds like you're pretty disappointed in those guys and you had better avoid it at all cost.

the trailer looked horrible to me, but then some people i know who saw it said it was really funny. i like Jack Black.

it seems like something that would be funny (on paper anyway). you can't go wrong with Mexican wrestling..

but i was not a big fan of NAPOLEON DYNAMITE. i don't know.. it was creative and had some inspired production design. and it was refreshing to see something that was actually different (and tryring to be different) than most of the films out there. but it's not that good. come on..

to me NAPOLEON DYNAMITE is the comedy eqivalent of DONNIE DARKO - overblown cult phenomenon

Anytime someone's face gets slapped with a piece of meat, the movie is an instant classic.

I would rather be abducted by Al-Qaida, drawn and quartered by horses, or even repeat all four years of high school then have to be subjected to this rubbish again. Well...maybe not those things...but I'd rather drink something horrible like warm Yoo-Hoo.

UNITED 93 was a knee-slapping riot next to NACHO LIBRE.

It made SHINDLER'S LIST look like AIRPLANE!

SOPHIE'S CHOICE was a breezy lark compared to it.

Even the bullet which put down OLD YELLER had more comic timing than NACHO LIBRE.
