I was thinking that actually.
I want to see all these trailers, interviews etc, but I have to wait until I have broadband installed in my new flat.
I do appreciate this Carl, and when the Decepticons come, you will be spared.

I saw a tv trailer for spider-man 3 last friday on channel4 and it mentioned Venom, but made no mention of sandman or the hob goblin. Which I thought was strange.

4 stars from total film I thought that they would string venom out across a forth movie, but it looks like all three villains are crammed into one movie. It sounds like a big chunk of a movie
Has anyone seen it yet? Any good?

I enjoyed Spiderman 3. Saw it on Friday, and yeah, pretty good.
NOT as good as 300 though. Ultimate boy film. Loved it.

Its dissapointing to say this but spider man 3 was the funniest movie ive seen in awhile- why was it funny? cause it sucked. there was one or two cool fight scenes but thats about. overall it was like watching a two hour cheesefest the audience was laughing at a few scenes no jokes, the dialouge, story and drama were all poorly done. So my review is 2stars out of 5 cause of one fight scene. blah

It's smashed box office records. The critics have lambasted it, and while I'd like to make up my own mind, it really does sound pretty shoddy. |

A friend of mine told me that I was better off waiting till spider-man 3 was out on dvd . Is it that bad?
I went and saw it. Way too much for one film. The venom story alone should have been an entire movie, it got a shoddy throw-in with sandman (even though it ties up the whole uncle ben story, sandman didn't deserve to be in this movie) And after the ending of spider-man 2, i really expected more from the goblin storyline.
Enjoyable, but must try harder
(oh, and there was a transformers trailer before the movie. How ironic! This started out as a Transformers thread and then it was derailed by spider-man. It has come full circle)

You see, as much as die-hard X-men fans moan, THIS is why Gambit has not been introduced so far.
The director said he deserves his own movie. You can't just squeeze him in amongst the other X-men.

The first two spider-man movies were good because there was a lot of time put into the villans (as well as peter parker) That was totally absent from the third movie. Marko's setup was lame and blunt.
Also, Topher Grace looked like he was having difficulty with those fake teeth in his mouth. It was a bit distracting

was it just me or was the opening credit sequence really bad? one of the coolest things about SPIDERMAN 2 was the comic book style opening credits. this one felt super cheesy and cheap to me, with the little picture-in-picture sequences from the other films.
overall, i was underwhelmed with the film. i remember going into SPIDERMAN 2 not expecting much and really enjoying it. i liked Sandman, and black-suit Spiderman was cool, but it was too long, some of visual effects were bad, and the writing didn't offer anything even fresh (how many times in cinema do we need to see a girl falling from a building and the superhero catches her just before she lands?) .. i guess it doesn't matter since it's the biggest film ever and stuff, but i kind of wish i hadn't paid money to see it

This is the way spider-man 3 should have been (in terms of villains, in chronological order):
-Throughout the movie there is a “failing relationship” sub-plot going on between Peter and Mary Jane-
-Continuation of Harry Vs Peter from second movie in a more malevolent manner -Eddie Brock hired by Daily Bugle -Sandman story introduced -Escalation of Harry Vs Peter resulting in Harry’s death -Shortly after Harry’s death, Marko is revealed as uncle Bens killer, driving peter into an emotional breakdown (after killing his best friend and realising he killed an innocent man) spider-man goes out for revenge on marko, also pushing himself further away from Mary Jane -Eddie Brock tries to get himself a name by following the whole Sandman Vs Spider-man fiasco, comes into confrontation with an increasingly hostile parker -Sandman and Spider-man have a finale showdown which proves to be futile for both of them as sandman is too powerful and spider-man refuses to give up. Cue “I forgive you” scene. Sandman blows away in the wind. -An emotionally drained Peter Parker fails to repair his relationship with MJ -Spider-man sits on a ledge of a skyscraper, looking out at the night sky, pondering the events that happened through out the course of the movie. Narration goes on for a bit. He sees a shooting star and says something like: “I wish things would change”, Cut to the meteorite hitting into the ground off in the country somewhere. Track and dolly slowly pans in on the steaming rock. BANG! Black ooze starts to shoot out Cut to black MASSIVE SETUP FOR A FORTH MOVIE FEATURING A SOUL VILLAIN: VENOM then snow patrol warbles on for a bit
*This version of the movie does not contain a scene where spider-man runs in front of an American flag*
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
In SM4 you would have seen:
-Peter starts to date Gwen -Eddie Brock out for revenge on peter -Black suit spider-man -Eddie Brock discovering Peter is spider-man -VENOM -A shit-hot fight between spider-man and venom -Peter getting back with MJ -Setup for a fifth film featuring the Lizard
There would also be CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!
*This version of the movie does not contain a scene where Topher Grace messes around with his teeth*

Saw it tonight; I was expecting to be disappointed after reading bad reviews, but I did actually kinda like it, although it was deeply flawed. It tried to juggle too many characters and story threads, but, as you'd expect from Sam Raimi, their was a lot of humour and wacky ideas. I agree with floop about some of the dodgy effects, although for the most part it was well done. The big ending sequence was very cheesy, though. It seemed to try and play on 9/11 again, which is a little cheap. |

Okay, so, anyone like the Hitman games? Well, you might know that they’re making a movie of it, but Vin Diesel is no longer the lead role. Here’s the first leaked images from the set:
Fuck! They’re already getting it wrong! The tie is meant to be redder than that. And the guy’s head has to be bonier!
Okay they won't work here, so click here: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3159601
