Do you think Bluefinger was intended to be a Pixies album? |

Damn it, I can't watch them on this PC at work.
I'll have to wait a few more weeks. Grrrr.
Thanks anyway Carl.

Really? That does surprise me. Is that just for the US? What was the previous record holder?

-47 is not fat faced -47 is sickly looking and lean -47 is menacing -47 never falls in love -47 doesn’t look like a 17 year old -47 does not suck like Timothy Olyphant -47 would never enter a room with brandishing his silver ballers in such a manner -47 would never “bring us peace”

I saw TRANSFORMERS last night...it was really fun! I was never a TRANSFORMERS fan, that's more my younger brother's territory, but I did watch the cartoons with him 20+ years ago, and even saw the god-awful theatrical movie in '86 at the theater. I was a bit wary of this film, but my brother and I went to see it last night, and it was actually very, very entertaining for what it was. The main kid was great...made me laugh. Jon Voight is just downright bizarre and senile...not the character, but Voight himself. The effects were great eye candy. The only drawback was that the theater was so full, we were forced to sit in the third row, which almost sent one into seizures as every single edit in the film is no longer than 3.5 seconds. I'd definately buy the dvd.

I only wish they would have taken cars that turn into robots more seriously. Why all the nodding and winking? I guess its a sign of the times, nothing sincere, even if it is outlandish toy commericals, can be taken seriously. I was dissapoined by the teen humor bits, and left a bit empty by the action scenes -- I don't think it takes much to make people care about characters, even ridiculous sci-fi ones like these. This movie made the cartoon movie look like Shakespeare! oh well... the stuff did blow up real good. But too many bad humans in it. |

It's about as gay as Chuck Norris (ie it will roundhouse you to the face if you even mention the word gay near it).

Finally saw Transformers. Yeah, it's good. Some of the comedic bits later on in the movie were mildly annoying. And Jon Voight shouldn't have been in this movie. But it was good
couldn’t really post this in the Movie trailers thread, since there’s no trailer but…
