Why?

Slightly off-topic, I was a bit worried last night at 1-0 down. Not too worried mind, but not too comfortable either. Vidic's goal was perfectly timed. He's brilliant at both ends, I really like him.

I hate West Ham for a few reasons. They denied us getting into the Division 1 playoffs in literally the LAST SECOND of the season, they always beat us at the JJB (usually in the last minute) and (trying not to generalise too much) a lot of their fans are the most patronising bunch I've ever come accross.

Anyway, enough of that. I have to agree with you about Vidic, he looks like a brilliant player, great defensively and always handy to have in the box for set pieces. I've got him in my fantasy team.

Cheers. Usually I would see it as a massive favour to Man U and Chelsea if we were to pull off a victory against Arsenal but it just doesn't seem they need it being so far ahead anyway.

Sorry to let you down Mike. We were absolutely robbed with that late goal though. I know everyone says this after a defeat but the referee was giving absolutely everything to them in the second half. Makes me fucking sick how one man can absolutely ruin an otherwise excellent game.

I suppose he should've scored last night, someone said the ball hit a divot when he was one on one with the keeper but I haven't seen any replays of it yet. He's been one of our best players this season though.

Rob Styles is now on the official bent referees list. He was Arsenal's man of the match.

I reckon we could turn you over tomorrow Stu, we are on a role and we were outstanding in the second half against Villa. 3 points would see us move to 12th. Having said this we will almost certainly lose. UTB

To be honest we're pretty confident ourselves after our performance against Arsenal. It's not very often I'm confident but I think we'll be up for it tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be a good game.

Never have I been more wrong! It was a terrible game, we just weren't up for it. It might have been a good lesson for Paul Jewell to see how a side should take their chance and hold on to a lead, which we seem incapable of this season.

Well done.

Thank you very much. The first half was rubbish we scored a neat goal. Second half was a decent show I thought ok no real quality but an entertaining game nontheless, even though you threw alot at us we still looked the side more likely to score. Good luck with the 6 games without Mculloch, disgrace.

Yeah, I don't think there can be any complaints if Lee Mac gets banned for that. I just can't believe he did it, in the 5-6 years he's been here I've never seen him do anything like it before. Apparently he went to your dressing room after the game and apologiesd to Morgan, which I know doesn't make it right, but at least it's something.

We could really have done with having Lee available over the Christmas peropid, especially with our list of injuries. Then again, I suppose he should've taken notice of the old football saying "If you punch people in the face you'll get suspended."

yea ok, I made that saying up, but it makes sense

I've not seen it yet, but if he really has punched someone in the face then he got off lightly.

The argument United fans have is why do the teams you play over Christmas get the benefit of you not having him available. Something of such severity should benefit us surely, as he should have been sent off anyway. Had he have gone on to score and we drawn, what good is to us him then being banned for the next 3 games. Rules on this sort of thing need to be looked at. Angel did the exact same thing to Morgan during the Villa game and as the ref saw it and let it go nothing can be done about it. Ridiculous.

True, but it's always been that way. I'm not sure I can think of a way it could be easily changed, apart from a player being banned the next time they face the same opposition, but that couldn't work.

To be honest there are lots of rules that need sorting out in the game. This is just one of them.

I don't see a solution to that one I'm afraid Malax. I think this is more about punishing the offender, rather than compensating the victims, and I don't see how it could be any other way.

Aww damn, another 93rd minute winner for Chelsea. Absolutely gutted. We outplayed the champions in the second half and came away with nothing.

I want Manchester United to win the league now.

Just got back from Charlton. Gutted at losing 1-0. It's getting even tighter at the bottom now. I'm hoping ourseles and Sheff U can beat the drop. Down with Watford, West Ham and Charlton.

I doubt Newcastle will go down. I do think anyone up to Aston Villa in 14th is in danger though. At the moment I think Watford are the only certainty for relegation.

Booo!!! Spoil sport!

The Magpies only need one more win and they're alright. I just wishful think. Plus I don't like teams who think they're "BIG" clubs because of the past when in the present and no doubt future will remain as shit as ever. No offence Newcastle Frank Black fans.

Shit's a bit harsh.
I mean "weak".

Oooh. Chris Coleman sacked! Lawrie Sanchez is in charge until the end of the season. Interesting move, I mean, Fulham haven't won in 7 games and are just 4 points above the relegation zone...but this could backfire spectacularly.

I bet if he stays, Healy will be there next season.
