Ah, well it was probably best you stayed at home...
Im in no position to tahe the piss though, we had to rely on Timbo to save our blushes again. I dont know how we ever got by without him.

Yeah, Cahill is looking good this season.
The guy up front looked handy, Anichebe is it? How long has he been with Everton? I'd never heard of him before this season.

Yeah, you wont seen much of him, he's only 18 and a product of the youth system. Made his debut towards the back end of last season and scored on the final day against West Brom. He looks very promising and was scoring for fun in pre-season. He's from Nigeria and unfortunately has expressed his desire to represent them and not England (although he is eligible) at international level.

I reckon you will be able to get him permanently at the end of the season if Ben Foster keeps progressing the way he is.
He's a very good keeper though, Timmy.

I was actually referring to Timmy Cahill, we had Richard Wrong between the sticks last night performing his usual comedy routine. Hopefully we will be able to get Timmy (Howard that is) at the end of the season, he's been great for us so far. I just worry that like Wright he's a confidence player and if he gets an injury or has a run of poor form then he wont be able to turn it around.

How come he switched back to Wright? Howard came there for regular first team action.

I at last can be a part of a Premiership discussion (and actually support a premiership team) alas I fear it will be very short lived. We currently lie in everyones predicted position and unless our manage gets some nouse we are doomed. Roll on Everton away, corporate hospitality here I come.

Yeah amazing, wish I had been there when the second goal went in. To be honest though can you honestly say there are 3 teams worse than us?

Personally I can't.
I said from the go that yourselves and Watford would go straight back down.
The other one is a tough one.

You would have to say Charlton right now, Fulham could go, we have a tiny chance.

It would be funny if after years of Charlton fans not appreciating Curbishly, they lose him and go down.

I doubt it. Bolton wouldn't be able to field a team.

Haha, it seems we'll never be able to beat United. I'm nearly starting to think about relegation...not quite yet, but more performances like the second half against Man U and we'll be saying farewell to the Premiership. United looked decent in the second half, Giggs made a big difference. Solskjaer was class.
Might be a closer title race than I expected, especially with Chelsea's keeper crisis at the moment.

I think it will be closer, but I still think Chelsea will win it.
I reckon Wigan will be OK, but there will be no repeat of last year, that's for sure. You need Camara firing quick.

I still reckon Chelsea might just win the league ahead of United. The Chelsea vs Man Utd games will be crucial, though I suppose anything can happen between now and the end of the season.

It's much more exciting this year, that's for sure.
Enjoyed the game on Saturday. Great goal from Saha. He's really taken on Ruud's goalscoring responsibility. Speaking of Ruud, nice goal by him for Real at the weekend.

Nice to see you come back and rescue a point against the scum from 2-0 down.

Do you not think he meant to cross it and got it wrong?
By the way, the word from Brighton is that he thinks a bit much of himself and isn't the hardest worker in the world. I can't see Warnock standing for that if it's true.

I heard on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday that Warnock told him "Nobody wants you, you're the luckiest boy alive that we do".
That's good man management to be fair.

So the 'title decider' finished 1-1. I expect both teams will be reasonably happy with that? United will see it as keeping themselves 3 points infront, whilst Chelsea have not lost any more ground and got a good away point.
