I know what fbc looks like and he is far far FAR dreamier than that guy, believe you me. fbc oozes a certain charm that is undescribable. Carl, on the other hand, looks like a handsomer, less dramatic Billy Corgan...I think.

2 nights ago I dreamed I was hanging out with Newo and Erebus, and I was telling Erebus how Repo Man was a fucking good movie, but that he'd enjoy it even more while smoking weed. Fun stuff.

Aw, thanks, Kathryn, that's very generous of you! I've only ever posted a picture of myself once, on holiday in Spain, that didn't look very distinct, but it's funny you should mention the pretentious SP frontman, because a friend of mine compared me to him before (Kurt Cobain is another, people seemed to think I was trying to be Liam or Noel Gallager when I had moppy hair and a big coat some years ago, and I've been compared to Tim Robbins, Harrison Ford and Johnny Vegas, so they're probably all wrong!). My Dad-really-looks like Rolf Harris!! I don't recall seeing a picture of you, but I always imagine you as a sexy housewife, haha!
I have some very weird dreams. Remig, are you ssure that was a dream? ;) |

I can't believe it, I had another dream about VoVat. He was driving me somewhere in a taxi. The fare was £20. Weird.
[EDIT] These dreams about foum members are getting on my nerves. I had another(!) last night. Me, my mate and homers_pet_monkey were all having a drink. Then we ordered a pizza but the guy said they had stopped serving food, so we asked to speak to the chef. Suddenly about 20 guys in white jackets with knives came out chasing us and off we ran. End of dream.
Oh yeah, and homers was wearing some sort of black mask covering his eyes like Batman or something.

I had a dream a few nights ago where I was driving around remote areas and applying for jobs. One of them turned me down because I talked too fast and didn't go into enough detail at the interview. I tried to eat at a Pizza Hut, but the workers were on strike there and at every other Pizza Hut in the area.

I had a dream last night where me and some friends were skateboarding when this guy came up and tried to sell us some lottery tickets. I thought this seemed weird so I started talking to the guy but then he pulled a stanley knife on us! He said "You see this knife? My wife stabbed six people with this knife the other night." (A woman did actually stab six people in my town recently). I legged it home and phoned the police. Then I went back out to see if he was still there but... then I woke up...I hope I have an equally exciting dream tonight.

Probably inspired by all the talk around here about brushing teeth and going to the dentist.... I dreamed that I suddenly had many cavities, some teeth had fallen out and a front tooth had gotten very crooked.

Well, it finally happened. I had a dream about somebody from this forum. It was fbc, and he flew here to accompany me at somebody's piano recital. If I'm remembering clearly, he was either my older brother or he was supposed to symbolize it.
God, I feel so weird for dreaming about people from the forum I've never met. But hey, I guess it could have been Tiven -- spanking me for saying he ruined "Fast Man Raider Man."
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

I had a dream about being back at school playing an acoustic version of Calistan for the rest of the class. Dreams about FB related stuff are becoming quite normal for me now.

You were wearing a hooded bathrobe and had a cigarette hanging out of your mouth and a dead look in your eyes. No, wait, that's the dream I keep worrying I'll have with floop in it.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

I was a little bit feverish last night and was dreaming I was teaching and the kids were crowding round asking me questions that they never liked the answers. I hate dreaming about work.

last week i dreamt of a sperm whale laying on a 18 wheel flat bed that was parked on 9th avenue. the whale was in two parts like a butter dish with the base (or belly) on the truck and the top a more recognizable shape placed beside it on the street. for no other reason than it being my dream i organized a fire brigade with the many horrified onlookers. huge plastic pitchers filled with tap water were available and we doused the belly part of the whale as fast as we could. after a while the people who were helping had to leave to catch their trains and subway rides home. the whale never moved. con ed set up some cones and hazard lights then told me to move on. traffic was heavy and more and more speeding cabs and trucks came closer and closer to hitting the top shell of the whale. i left the scene telling myself the whale was fake or dead.
i woke later that day to my phone ringing, it was the guy i worked for the night before. turns out 5 minutes after i walked out of his studio at 9:20pm a crazy shit shot and killed two auxiliary cops right outside the door. 5 minutes. I saw these two young men at the corner outside the store i bought a bottle of beer for my train ride home. i saw them but did'nt look you know cops and all. 5 minutes later they were dying. 5 minutes before they were talking shop talking about the JOB. I hung up the phone went back to my room shut the tv off wich had been on all morning and placed together these and many other thoughts i can't convey. dream on. |

Occasionally my dreams come true... its happened more than once and never fails to freak me out.
Once I had a dream that I was watching the movie Executive Decision, the scene where Steven Seagal dies. Straight afterward Bob Marley came into my dream.
The next day I was sitting down and eating my dinner when a clip from the movie Executive Decision came on (the bit where Steven Seagal dies). I thought that this was a little bizarre, but got really freaked out when 2 minutes later the same program had a feature about Bob Marley.
Another time I dreamt that I was back at my old workplace in Britain. My former housemate and I were walking through my workplace looking for my boss. Instead, of finding my boss we bumped into one of my best mates brothers (who in real life didn't work for that company) and in my dream we exchanged pleasantries etc etc.
The next day, I was in the kitchen doing some work when I started thinking about the dream. No sooner had I done that then the phone went. It was my old housemate who I dreamt I was walking around work with (he calls me about once a year if that)... I was a little freaked out, but then even more so when he informed me that my friends brother had recently come out of the closet (I had not mentioned that part of my dream to him when we met up with my brothers friend). Very strange.
This stuff happens every now and then for me... it could just be that I have a very vivid imagination, which is true.

Crazyass. Youse got teh psychicz, Stuart!
I pretty much never remember my dreams, very dissapointing. When I DO remember them, they're very non-cryptic and boring. I'm gonna eat a shit load of cheese one night and see what happens.

A little block of cheddar before bed does the trick for me. The other night I accidently belted my wife in my dream. I was having a dream that a Tyrannosaurus Rex was trying to get through my front door and I was having trouble keeping the door shut. The wife must have rolled over in her sleep and touched me, because next thing I felt my whole body fling forward in an attack... I guess I was desperately trying to repel the dinosaur... but then I was woken up by the shreiking of my wife (which didn't sound to dissimilar to sounds off of Jurassic Park) who was not best pleased.
Safe to say I was on my best behavior yesterday.

Well, I'll be goddamned. There's a Cheese Dreams forum, where you talk about what kind of cheese you ate and what kinds of dreams you had. (s_wrenn, you should really infiltrate these guys.)

I ate some cheese since I'm going to bed in a minute but I think the block of Red Leicester has gone off, I still ate a bit of it though. Then I thought I might not have eaten enough so I had a few of those cheese slices. I wonder if it's wise to mix cheeses before bed?

Chinese food is also supposed to be a trigger for weird dreams... although cheddar cheese is by far the best way in my opinion.
I wonder if Cheese slices have the same effect... I do not really count them as cheese as they are processed shit. Maybe I will try using them as an experiment.
