| The broad introducing Frank had all her facts wrong--she said the Pixies last played together in '93 and reunited in 2005. As we all know, she's a year late on both. Shocking lack of research, but at least she didn't roll out the Cobain thing. And though it would've been nice to see Frank do some panel with Henry and Werner, I guess it was nice enough just seeing the big man play on tv. Thumbs up. |

Yea I'm having a hard time getting into the show. Everything feels rushed, especially the interviews. The interviews seem to consist of one question about the artists work and then the next 4 mins are spent talking politics with Henry. Some of the segments are a little bit funny, but a lot of the storytelling from his spoken word seems to be missing in the show. Oh and his head bobbing when he introduces the artist for the interview drives me nuts.
I really like seeing the uncensored musical performances though. For this, I'll keep it scheduled on my tivo.
