I just want to share my frustration (and nostalgy) when I remember that a couple of years ago I fell a little different than others because I was listening every day on my headphones FB, I was so happy to make discover his songs to friends, I could see the man in very small places and even discuss with him after his shows! And now, the Pixies became so big...I even could hear the Pixies songs in a swiss gas station last week-end...Just miss subculture...Anyway, FB will always be a rockish-countrish-reaggish god to me !

Just remember, great things are better shared. My Velouria, many people have felt the same way (including me on some subjects)...however, in my case, after spending most of the 1990's working at an indie record store and trying my damndest to spread the then nearly forgotten Pixies and obscure Frank Black all over those who came my way, I'm happy the musical legends are finally getting their due!

I remember how much of a shock it was to me to find a community, online, that knew, could discuss, and share my love of FB. Such a contrast to the real world. :)

So true. Charles is one of just a handful of musicians who can say that they really stirred things up in their lifetime. That is a big thing to be able to say.
