I'm a ridiculously big fan of their self titled album.
AND....
Mike Patton is always working on something, and right about now he is working on thirty somethings. In a recent interview with MTV, Patton revealed details about his many ongoing projects. Perhaps the most anticipated is the debut full-length from Peeping Tom, which is due in stores May 30. The release is set to include guest spots from Kid Koala, Odd Nosdam, Doseone and Jel of Anticon, Dale Crover of The Melvins, Massive Attack, Dan The Automator, Rahzel, Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs, Amon Tobin, Bebel Gilberto, Brooklyn's Dub Trio, DJ Disk of the Invisibl Skratch Piklz, Kool Keith, and Norah Jones. Patton is also tracking vocals for three songs for Massive Attack's forthcoming Weather Underground, composing soundtracks for two films, lending his voice to the PlayStation 3 game "The Darkness," working on the next Lovage record, and he's been writing material for the next Tomahawk full-length, which is "based on old Native American motifs."

I like both of them pretty much equally but if it's slick production your after than go with Mit Gas, they kind of got into their groove, so to speak, with that one. The first one seems more like a demo with not so great production but the songs are still really good. Get'em both! |

Also I read that when Mike Patton hosted Rage (Australian music video show) he picked a Pixies song, Breeders song and Frank Black song http://www.fnm.com/tv/Rage95.html I wish i'd seen that episode so I could see what he said about them -- Only fools have signatures
That's cool, for some reason I wouldn't have thought of Mike Patton as liking The Pixies or The Breeders , let alone FB.

I got the selftitled Tomahawk. Only had time to listen to a bit of it because I´m back wandering the streets for the night but that second song is fantastic.

Yes way. I would have at least strained it through my underwear or sock first.
That Tomahawk album I´m enjoying lots, it is much less dense than Fantomas or Mr Bungle, and much as I love Fantomas I´m keen on how Patton writes lyrics too.

holyshit that Peepingtom looks inviting.
q and a with patton http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7504877/ you can listen to tracks from Xecutioner record there, I like the sound of it, specially that Vaqueros y Indios, reminds me of some of the stuff I hear in the street here but with some timely spazzes thrown in. --
