Look out Kim!
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place
wow, seriously? dream come true
Yeah I am gonna give him a call when I get there an hopefully go for a few drinks beforehand. It may be best if I don;t go backstage though. For Kim's sake.
Hey Cheeseman, you still want to meet Bumble and I? We are staying quite near Notting Hill, so how about meeting there and going for those wedges with chilli mayo again?
We could then head to that micro brewery. What do you think?
Anywho, if anyone else fancies meeting up with a few forum members, then let us know.

Where abouts is the micro brewery, out of interest? Close to the venue? |

They're doing an exhibition of Vaughan Oliver's artwork at Blackheath Halls on both days, noon til five. I'd like to have a look at that...

Vaughan is doing a book signing at both Blackheath shows between 6 & 7 if anyone gets there
secret Breeders gig last night... amazing. No song played after 1995. Phew. Tons of 'Pod' songs. Josephine Wiggs. Carrie Bradley.
I say no more. |

the venue looks amazing, loads of v23 artwork all over it
the merch stand will have as much old 4AD stuff as my car can carry! |

So what are everyones' plans? I'm trying to co-ordinate my day a bit. The exhibition finishes at 5 right? I'd like to be down there but I don't know what I'll do for two hours before the doors open for the gig! That said, I'm mobile, I'm easy, I might have to miss the exhibition anyway: it's a serious mission to get to South London for me.

It's cool that Josephine Wiggs rejoined them. And that they played Pod-era songs!

the exhibition is open all the time of the gig - it's basically the downstairs bar area, with loads of small v23 displays, and the upstairs area, with large ones (which look amazing!) - so, it's open from 1 till 5 in the day, and then open from 7-11 for the gig.
We went to the halls yesterday - it looks so good! And of course on both days Vaughan is around signing copies of his book for the first hour of the night.
Transport-wise, get the bus back to Lewisham, and there's tons of transport options there - it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to get there, and you have the overground and the DLR, as well as tons of buses. |

not sure- but the blackheath halls website says something like that, I think?
don't know what the parking restrictions are for the venue, but I know yesterday afternoon we couldn't park outside the venue, cause we;d get clamped... |

Yeah, a fabulous show. We were directly in front of Kim, our enjoyment only marred by that awful girl who was trying to out sing the band.
Great to see Josephine Wiggs perform. We spoke to her briefly after the show too.

Yeah? We were right in front of Kim. I was leaning on the stage the whole night. I was been to the left of ziggy if you're looking at the stage.
I wonder if that girl is going again tonight.
Loved Kellys "One!" (1 finger) "Two!" (2 finger) "Three!" (3 finger) "NO!!!!" When someone did 4. They were a great bunch to watch.
What were peoples thoughts on the support act?

Didn't see the support act, I was following Leah around as she harrassed strange men, as is her wont.
Aside from the massive catalogue of calamities that befell the Mancs and I, yeah, damn fine show. The Breeders are so cool.
