Have any of you been able to find the B-sides album? I can't find it online anywhere.

You mean ODDBALLS? You gotta try EBAY. It's not pressed anymore. Sometimes indie shops have them. Good luck.

No, I don't own those, but I'd like to. You selling?

Hey Jawbreaker, you can get Oddballs on i-tunes, however, you're only going to get 10 songs, which is 4 less than the 14 that are on the CD that was released in the year 2000.

Originally only available from WhatAreRecords? label in U.S. website...after completing BLD and DW and deciding not to go with W.A.R.? for distribution of said albums, he went back to spinART and spinART bought most of existing rights for Frank's solo efforts including ODDBALLS. As far as either label still offering them for sale, I'm 99.9% sure do not. It's completely out-of-print.

I'd love to be able to get the actual singles instead of a compilation as I have songs like Man of Steel, Village of the Sun, Hate Me and so on on their respective releases. The only single I have is Headache, as I have all the Pixies ones plus the B-Sides comp. I saw a single from Dog in the Sand (can't remember which one) when it came out but I think I was broke and never got round to getting it.

If you're finding it impossible to find Oddballs and you'd just like to own official copies of the songs and maybe burn your own Oddballs, most of the original singles and things that those songs were on can still be found very cheaply. The "Men in Black" singles are especially easy to find on ebay. You won't find the Oddballs version of "Jumping Beans" on a single, but you can download that one.

Thankfully, for us, there has yet to be very much major collector interest in Frank Black's CDs and records, so gathering it all together can be very easy and affordable if you keep an eye on ebay.

I own two copies of Oddballs (neither are for sale). I bought one when it first came out (off a website. ArtistDirect? I barely remember. I know it wasn't What Are Records) and then I bought another on ebay about two years ago when some guy was selling it at a Buy It Now price of $10.

I haven't looked at Frank auctions on ebay for a few months, but the biggest price I've seen Oddballs sell for there is a little over $50. That was sometime last year.

I downloaded Oddballs from eMusic, and it included the songs that iTunes apparently doesn't. That was four years ago, so I guess it's possible that they don't offer it anymore, but it's worth checking.

Whatever happened to that proposed 2 disc B-sides collection? Does anyone have any new information on that?

NimrodsSon, I thought (and I could be wrong here) that when the FB and the Cs box set was proposed, the plan of a 2 disc B-sides collection was aborted because b-sides would be included in the boxset.

Well, in that case, is there any new word on the box set?

Huh?!?!??!?!?!?!!?!??!?! I've NEVER heard of a DITS single. The only thing I've seen (and have) is a sampler from W.A.R.? which had an advance of BULLET in 2000. Anyone else seen what therewererumours has seen? I'd love more info.

Oh my God, I'm on drugs. I TOTALLY apologize. I actually OWN the singles...Bobby Onion AND St. Francis Dam Disaster(with the smashed car on the cover...an actual pic from the flood). For some reason I totally goofed and was thinking BLD or something...whatever. I'm not sure what I was thinking. In fact, I got these singles before the album was released. In fact I got the album before it was released here in the States. I had Frank sign it 2 months before the release and he got all flustered because he thought I had a promo. I had to explain that I ordered it from Europe and it was a bonafide copy, but he still insisted I had a promo. Whatever. This probably belongs in the ENCOUNTERS thread...anyhow, forgive me for my brain fart earlier.
