I've been looking out for this album for a couple of years on various web-sites (most notably E-Bay) and it NEVER surfaces. Presumably it was a limited release and I suppose that anyone who bought it is likely to want to keep it.
Has anyone spotted it anywhere? Am I looking in the wrong places? I REALLY want to buy this album.

I'm not sure about purchasing the actual album, but the last time I was surfing around emusic.com, they had about 90% of the tracks available for download. If you subscribe to the service, you can get 50 free mp3s, and then cancel afterwards. Never tried downloading this album, seeing as how all of the tracks aren't available.

You can also download it from the iTunes store, although it seems to be missing some tracks. Weird, because it doesn't even indicate that it is only a partial album. I'll email Sarah from spinART and see what's up with that.
Also, you can check the site's FAQ for a track listing and liner notes: http://forum.frankblack.net/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=961 ------------------------------------------------------------------------

I mentioned this recently in another thread, but I found SIX copies of it at a Cheapo Discs in St. Paul, Minnesota about three weeks ago. Weird, huh? But they also had a CD of a band I used to be in years ago and I had autographed it, too. (Odd because I don't even live in Minnesota.) So I consider that particular store to be an Oddball itself.

I checked w/the ever-helpful Sarah Flynn at spinART, and the reason that Oddball, At the End of the World, Hate Me, and Man of Steel are not available on the iTunes release of Oddballs is that spinART doesn't have the rights to them. However, you can still order copies from spinART.

Does the eMusic version include all of the songs?
I've reached 1000 posts / So I'm too cool to be in a cult. |

Yes, eMusic is supposed to, but apparently they're having "technical issues" with three of the songs, so they're temporarily unavailable. |

God, I love good ol' CD's. It's all right there in front of you. That said, I lost my Oddballs CD. Now I've gotta find another one. |

Then again, I guess you could say that about a big fat collection of mp3s on your harddrive, too. My bad. |
