Hey, but it's a three day thing this convention, isn't it?

You can't blame fb.nets own Hunter S. CoffeeCan for hanging/rocking out with Frank and the cats.

Here's a clip of Frank performing Goodbye Lorraine during his set at the AMA. I shot it with the digital camera and its about 12 MB. We just got back to Indianapolis after travelling to see the evening showcases on Saturday at Mercy Lounge/Cannery Ballroom. It was a great night of music (and at $25, a complete steal!), capped off by Frank's awesome show, which started close to 1:00 am. I'll post some pics and more details (and a clip of Sing For Joy) after I get some much needed rest. Honeycomb tunes that were played included I Burn Today, Song Of The Shrimp, Another Velvet Nightmare and Sing For Joy

here's the link to Goodbye Lorraine:

Hey guys, sorry it's taken me so long to post. Thanks to thedude for the Goodbye Lorraine video. Very nice.

OldMan just doesn't rebound like he use to. Thursday and Friday night OM was out to 3 a.m. each night and up at 6 a.m. on Friday morning and 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. I must be getting old, huh!

Frank played from about 1:00 am to 2:30 am, then Vicki, Lea and Ali took OldMan out partying and wouldn't let him go home. I finally got home about 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning, and of course, there was a little hell to pay to Mrs. CoffeeCan. I would have posted yesterday except that there is no internet connection in the doghouse I've been in.

So, I'm going to the office later this morning and I'll be able to post a setlist and some pictures from there later today.

Sounds like you really have something to write about, OldMan.

I don't know, when I last had a weekend with hours like this. It's been a while. Leave alone the program...

And thanks for the link thedude. I will check it out when I have a fast internet-connection.

OH NO OM,
I'm sorry if we gotcha in trouble!! It was soo much fun to hang out, though. I have no voice today AT ALL. I guess we all have a price to pay. I know all you guys are waiting on a setlist, and I can give you a few, but my memory is bad and OM was the one writing. In no particular order, although I think All MY GHOSTS was first, NIMROD'S SON, CACTUS. I'm gonna stop b/c OM is gonna post all this......but you get the idea. Not a HONEYCOMB extravaganza.

No one. Lea and I ran into OM before he went on and he knew that he was going to be alone. I guess I just assumed that since he was in the 'ville, which is where it was recorded, that he would just do the album. Plus there was mention of "surprise guests", but no. When we would talk to people about him (the previus night) NO ONE knew who he was, which was also kinda shocking, since it seemed to us that he was headlining....just proves to me how uninformed I am and that you shouldn't whip out the tabasco before you have the omelet in front of you.

Alrighty then, having given due notice and receiving no opposition, let the posting of photos begin!

(Hey Vicki, ask Lea to send me those pictures she took so that I can post them here. Hers are better than mine. Ask Lea to email them to me, Thanks.

You are too kind and your wife is lovely! I ALWAYS have a drink in my hand whenever a pic is taken..Good pics, though and thank you for taking the time to post them. Anytime FB is playing in the area, you and yours have a place to crash. Is there a Nashville site to check out reviews re the w/end? I've looked a bit today, but can't seem to find one.

Oh God. Everytime I Go Round Here. and Sing For Joy. Somehow I thought he'd never play that one, just like he did with St Francis.
And the CoffeeCan Cool Shirts Extravanganza goes on! Although I think we had already seen the green one.

I'm so really envious, OldMan. Tap yourself on the back for being such a cool guy.

Ach OldMan, these pictures are soooo nice.

Judging from what you can see it seems to have been a cool and relaxed event. Especially cool, what with the cig behind your ear and all.

And seeing Frank doing a solo electric show is just awsome.
It's hard not to get overwhelmed by envy, I have to admit. I try my best...

So, why don't you tell us all about the seminar?

Thanks for the kind words everyone. OK, As promised here is the clip of Frank performing Sing For Joy, which is a 23.3 MB file. If you liked Goodbye Lorraine, you are going to LOVE this one! Frank flat out nails it!

http://s30.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2GK10Y4K4DIY320U9VRNXIDW25

Here are a few of the pics I took.

Rich, Dan, Melyssa and thedude hanging out before the show!

I have to say that we thouroughly enjoyed our 1-day trip to Nashville. A lot of good vibes were going around all day long. We sampled some great barbeque, the weather was perfect, and as I said before, Frank's set capped off a great night of music overall.
